- Accidentally-Correct Writing: The mod's primary joke is the idea of Doom copying the style of gameplay seen in Call of Duty. One of the periods of development in Doom (2016) pushed for a much more Call of Duty style direction with its gameplay and tone, which ended up nixed due to it not feeling like a Doom game.
