• Adaptation Displacement: the film is much more well-known than the book it's based on.
• Same Language Dub: since several characters, including two of the main cast, were played by foreign actors, they were dubbed by Polish actors:
  • Benedek is played by Hungarian actor Zoltan Bezeredy, and dubbed by Jerzy Bończak.
  • Chudej is played by Hungarian actor Robert Koltai, and dubbed by Andrzej Gawroński.
