• Completely Different Title: In Germany, the episode was aired as "Anne - Gefangen in der Unterwelt" (Anne - Trapped in the Underworld).
• Creator's Favorite Episode: In the October 1, 1999 issue of Entertainment Weekly, Michael Gershman, the director of photography, said that this was his favourite episode.
• Deleted Scene: This line was cut for time:
  Willow: Oh! That reminds me. I asked around about Andrew Hoelich, our gymnastic vampire, and apparently he used to like to hang out in Hammersmith Park and pick up grilles! Or, okay, that could be girls.
• What Could Have Been: Jonathan Levinson was originally supposed to say Larry’s line, “If we can focus, keep discipline… and not have quite as many mysterious deaths, Sunnydale is gonna rule!”
