- Acting for Two: The central trio in every single installment of the series.
- An honorary mention goes to actress Marianne Mørk, who managed to cover two different roles in one single episode in the original series from 1978. As far as we know, she is the only one besides KLM who did this.
- Another honorary mention goes to actor Åsleik Engmark, who played no less than six roles in the fourth series, including Karl XII, Prince Carl/King Haakon VII, and two of the central villains.
- And parodied with actress Linn Skåber in one episode of the fourth series, who appears to be playing four different roles in the same episode... but then the brothers comment on how much alike the four women looked, and it turns out it's actually the same character who's working four different jobs.
- Keep Circulating the Tapes: There are some rare, out-of-print LP and CD releases featuring Brødrene Dal.
- Suspiciously Similar Song: In XII, while the brothers take the train to Halden, the scene switches to what is obviously a model train set while a sound-alike of the Thomas & Friends theme plays.
