- Playing Against Type: Nobuyuki Hiyama is amongst the cast members of Grand Edition. While his roles like Palomides and Shast fit in with his normal typecast of Hot-Blooded guys, his role as Soleil is very against type, since Soleil is a troubled, reluctant, morose guy (since his mother was taken hostage against her and his will).
- Sequel Gap: There's about 23 years gap between the last Brigandine release (Grand Edition) and the Non-Linear Sequel (Legend of Runersia)
- What Could Have Been: The Brigandine on Switch was originally envisioned to be a remake of Legend of Forsena/Grand Edition. But Happinet Games was unable to gather the old staff of the game. To respect their vision, they then designed the game to be a Non-Linear Sequel in Runersia.
