  • In Memoriam: From 1998 to 2001, the Heartland Wrestling Association in Ohio held the "Brian Pillman Memorial Show," featuring wrestlers from WWE, WCW, ECW, OVW and the HWA.

  • What Could Have Been:
    • In 1994 there was talk of bringing Brian into a new version of the The Four Horsemen. (Pillman did become a Horseman in 1995). Theoretically, they would have also brought in "Stunning" Steve Austin and reunited the Hollywood Blondes alongside Flair and Arn Anderson.
    • His feud with Goldust and Marlena led to a match at WWF in Your House: Ground Zero, in September 7, 1997 where, if Goldust won, Pillman would leave WWE "forever" but, if Pillman won, he got Marlena as his valet for 30 days. Pillman won the match...and died on October 5, just around the time the 30 days would have been up. The original plan was for Marlena to turn heel and side with Pillman, possibly at Badd Blood, the event that took place on the same night Pillman died. Pillman's death meant that it was the rare match where both stipulations were fulfilled, just not in a way anyone intended or expected.
    • If Pillman's car accident didn't occur, or at the least had resulted in less severe injuries, chances are he would've been the one to face Steve Austin at Wrestlemania XIII instead of Bret Hart.
