  • Missing Episode: The 2007 versions of the Short Stories "Away At Summer Camp" and "Night Owl" are lost. The first of the 2007 Short Stories, "The Disco", was formerly lost until Sleepstar rewrote it in 2022. Out of the two still lost, a fragment and a sketch is all that remains of the former; the sketch isn't in her possession, but instead, in the possession of another classmate
  • Self-Adaptation: Sleepstar is currently working on an animated adaptation of The Disco
  • Series Hiatus: Took one between 2007 and 2011 due to the author taking her exams and trying to get into College
  • She Also Did: Sleepstar also did The 75 Years Verse, a Hunger Games fanfiction.
  • What Could Have Been: On a Tumblr post from 2017, Sleepstar revealed that 2007 Short Story #4 was scrapped halfway through, which resulted in a Continuity Error in a scene from the Short Story "Night Owl". She also said that the 2018 Short Story "Corruption" was retooled from a planned but unwritten short story from 2007, which would have revealed several of Lucas' Classmates, but at the time she couldn't think of the character's arc.
  • Working Title: Sleepstar revealed on her Twitter that she had six working titles at various stages of the project. Altogether, she had ten potential titles
  • Writers Cannot Do Maths: Averted, especially when it comes to dates.
  • Write What You Know: Many of the stories are based on the author's own experiences at Secondary.
  • Write Who You Know: Sleepstar has revealed that the majority of characters in Bramble Clough are based on people she knew from Secondary, and that Matisha is named after a girl in her class. Justified in that she started work on the stories as a teenager

The stories was created with a future generation in mind.
