- Throw It In!!: "Struggler" comes to a complete stop, before there's some Studio Chatter saying "That's probably too long", and an apparently spontaneous coda involving the riff to "Sweet Child Of Mine" and a Big Rock Ending, with Jeff saying "So gross! So gross!" in the background.
- What Could Have Been: Jeff planned to have a Concept Album based on the contents of a tape that he "found" detailing the story of a American submarine attack by Russians during the Cold War. He decided midway through that it sucked, and it was scrapped, with a few of the songs ending up on Goodbye Cool World.
- Adults! was originally conceived as a throwback to the early days where Jeff would do everything in his bedroom, before his musician friends convinced him to make it a full band project.
- Word of God: Most of the songs have a brief explanation along with the lyric sheet on the download page to each album.
