Trivia / Boggy Creek 2: And the Legend Continues

Go To

  • Blooper: The deer carcass removal scene has Dr. Lockhart calling Tim's actor by his real name.
  • Canon Discontinuity: Despite it being called Boggy Creek II, this is actually the third film, preceded by Return to Boggy Creek. Charles B. Pierce clearly didn't want audiences to remember the previous film, especially since it was made without his input.
  • Creator Backlash: Charles B. Pierce considered this his worst film and was especially critical of his own performance. His main motivation for making the film was the production of an unauthorized sequel to his original The Legend of Boggy Creek without his participation, and he wanted to reclaim rights to the franchise. Pierce commented that "This time, I spent almost as much on the creature suit as I did on the film itself."
  • Production Posse: Jimmy Clem (Old Man Crenshaw) appeared in all but one of Charles B. Pierce's films. Cindy Butler (Leslie) had a major role in The Town That Dreaded Sundown and was Pierce's girlfriend for a time.
  • Real-Life Relative: The actor who played Tim was the son of the actor who played Dr. Lockhart.
