• Creator Cameo: Voice director Gordon Hunt does the voice of the offscreen director.
• The Shelf of Movie Languishment: The short was completed in 1991, but didn't see a release until six years later, reportedly because Warner Bros. weren't amused by Daffy's line about them "not having an original bone in their body." ^note The original cartoons could get away with this because, while WB owned the films, executives gave no creative input and only cared about having a cartoon before a film so they could make a quick buck. It wasn't until a party guest told the head of the studio that they'd seen the film and loved it that it was quietly aired on Cartoon Network and The WB network (the latter of which censored some parts). It later appeared on the first Looney Tunes Golden Collection DVD set.
