• Executive Meddling: Franco couldn't alter the script any way because one of the producers had written it. He was also promised lots of things for filming this picture (including a score by Pink Floyd), all which turned out to be lies.
• What Could Have Been: The producers wanted to shoot in Austria, until Franco pointed out that the locations they chose didn't resemble Spain at all. Plus, filming in Spain was actually cheaper.
