, meaning it could not be released on consoles. - Christmas Rushed: After the initial negative reception towards the Enhanced Edition, Nightdive Studios admitted in a later interview that it had been a mistake to release the port in the state it was in, copping up to the fact that they had chosen the release date to coincide with the film's 40 year anniversary.
- Keep Circulating the Tapes: Was stuck in limbo for a very long time due to the combination of being a licensed game, the source code being lost, and being very glitchy on modern PCs. However, in 2019, shortly after ScummVM added support for it, the game finally was made available to buy digitally on GOG.com. The (admittedly rather poor) Enhanced Edition release in 2022 also brought it over to consoles for the first time.
