- Fake American: The English actress Marsha Thomason portrays Nicole at the end of the film with an over-the-top American accent, probably to distinguish the role from the British chambermaid Victoria (also portrayed by Thomason).
- Fake Brit: American actors Kevin Conway and Helen Carey portray King Leo and the deposed Queen.
- Similarly Named Works: There's also a series of pinball machines titled Black Knight.
- Throw It In!: The scene where Princess Regina trips over her bed sheets was not scripted, actress Jeannette Weegar really did trip and fall, but the director liked it so it was kept and put in the final cut.
- What Could Have Been: Chris Tucker was originally cast as Jamal but did Rush Hour 2 instead.
