The pinball machine:

• Bad Export for You: The exported version's backglass has a static black hole and no mirror effect.
• Dummied Out: The rotating backglass art and speech card were omitted from exported versions of the game.
• Promoted Fanboy: Joe Cicak, a pinball player who conceived of the game idea during lunch.
• Referenced by...: The machine is shown in the background of the 1983 movies Les Compères and Strange Brew, as well as the 1989 film Next of Kin.
  • The phrase "Do you dare to enter the Black Hole?" was etched in the vinyl runout grooves on LP versions of the band Hovercraft's 1997 album Akathisia.
