- Invisible Advertising: "Chipwrecked" was not even referred to once in the September promo, possibly to avoid spoiling the really dark ending scene.
- Meaningful Release Date: The episode "Quiet Please", which has sign language, came out on September 19, 2020. September is Deaf Awareness Month.
- Motion Capture: The scenes where the Greens used sign language were provided by deaf language experts Delbert and Jevon Whetter and Justin Maurer, who were brought in and made sure the gestures were fully accurate.
- What Could Have Been: Two of the customers sprayed in the mouth with coffee are a woman walking a man like a dog. Originally the scene had the woman walking a dog and get covered in coffee, but the dog was replaced with a human pretending to be a dog because the higher-ups didn't want to show a dog drinking coffee (coffee being poisonous to dogs).
- Word of God: Chris Houghton said on this Tumblr "Quiet Please" sorta confirms Cricket has ADHD.
