  • Jimmy and Tuco shaking hands after solidifying their..."deal" for the skateboarding twins was not in the original script.
  • Towards the end of the courtroom montage, Jimmy is seen passionately defending his various clients, but behind the scenes, the bites of dialogue were spliced together from several minutes-long improvised speeches given by Bob Odenkirk. According to the director, he was given a specific scenario and told to just "run wild". The unedited footage can be seen on this DVD extra.
• What Could Have Been: An earlier draft of the episode's script had Tuco attempt to buy off the twins, before violently turning on them after they rebuff his offer as being too low and call his grandmother a "biznatch" as well. This was reduced to the twins making the "biznatch" comment right off the bat, partly to save time, and partly to make the point that, yes, Tuco is insane enough to murder someone just for insulting his grandmother.
