Crossdressing Voices: Averted in the original English and the Argentinian Spanish dub, as all the male boys are voiced by actual males. On the other hand this is played straight in the Mexican Spanish one, when is the opposite case, except with Pee Wee, who was voiced by Miguel Ángel Ghigliazza.
Dueling Dubs: There's two Latin American Spanish dubs: One done in Argentina and another one done in Mexico, being the Mexican one the most well-known one of the two.
Dummied Out: The SNES game has the lines "too black" and "too strong" from Malcolm X's "Message to the Grass Roots" speech in its data, but only the latter is used in the track played while fighting the final boss.
No Export for You: The SNES video game was only released in America.
Not Quite Starring: Robin Harris did not voice himself in the movie, as he died two years before its premiere.
The movie was originally going to be in live action and starring Robin Harris, but he passed away before production could start. They ended up making the film animated to dance around this.
The original script, once they decided to switch over to animation for the film, was a lot more adult, cynical and bigger in scale since screenwriter Reginald Hudlin wanted to take advantage of the fact that it was animated but also was more heartfelt and fleshed out the characters more with Hudlin saying the original draft was better than the final product.
