Trivia / Beautiful Bones: Sakurako's Investigation

• Children Voicing Children: 3-year-old child character Yuuka Tominaga (nicknamed Ii-chan) is voiced by Fuuka Sudou, who was around the same age at the time of recording. She had no prior acting experience, but was specifically chosen for the role to best capture Yuuka's innocence.
• God Never Said That: Due to a mistranslation in the story's english description on Anime News Network, it mistakenly said Sakurako and Shoutarou are a May–December Romance couple with Shoutarou enjoying showing off his older girlfriend. In reality, they aren't a couple as Sakurako has a fiance and Shoutarou finds Sakurako's love of bones creepy but he does have a crush on her.
• The Danza: Hiroki Utsumi is voiced by Hiroki Takahashi.
• No Export for You: You can only find the novels/manga in Japanese.
• The Other Darrin: The anime adaptation replaces the radio drama cast with Shizuka Itō as Sakurako Kujō instead of Ami Koshimizu, Jun'ya Enoki as Shōtarō Tatewaki instead of Yūki Kaji and Akira Ishida as Itsuki Isozaki instead of Shunya Hiruma.
• Write What You Know: Shiori Ota is from Sapporo, but has spent time living in Asahikawa, which helps her write the scenes for the novel since most of the stories take place in the latter city.
