Trivia / Batman Eternal

Go To

  • Lying Creator: Though likely not on purpose, the point in time that Batman #28 takes place is later than initially stated. It was stated to be an in-between for issues 38 and 39 of the main Batman Eternal series, but later solicits say it is what Issue 43 of the main series is leading into.
    • Slyly averted later thanks to Exact Words. James Tynion IV claimed in an interview he hadn't seen anyone correctly guess who was pulling the strings of the story, seemingly disqualifying popular theories like Lincoln March, Hugo Strange and others. It's true that the mastermind wasn't any of the above, but Lincoln March managed to pull a Hijacked by Ganon.
  • Milestone Celebration: The story is part of the celebration of 75 years of Batman.
  • What Could Have Been: Renee Montoya was almost in this series, but the writers decided they didn't want her to be just a bit character, and left her out, choosing to wait until after Convergence concluded to re-introduce her in the pages of Detective Comics.
