• Distanced from Current Events: An advert from the BashBots Season 4 finale promoted Antweight Anarchy, which was a YouTube series of Antweight Robots fighting in a Robot Wars arena. During February 2023, one of the creators of the Antweight Anarchy series was charged with murder and the YouTubers who helped upload the series had to distance themselves from said murderer, deactivating their YouTube accounts. The advert promoting said show has since been edited out, which created a timing error where the timers went from 4 minutes, 54 seconds of ad breaks remaining to 4 minutes and 12 seconds remaining.
• In Memoriam: Before Season 4 aired, the creator of the robot "Spinning Mayhem", Battlebotsboy, passed away from cancer. The 3rd episode of Bashbots Season 4 and the final episode of said season are dedicated to him in his memory.
