- Acting for Two: He sometimes plays other characters besides the main subject.
- In "I Knew You Were Trouble" and "Shake it off", he also played Harry Styles and one of the rednecks respectively while still playing Taylor Swift in both videos.
- In "Dark Horse", aside from playing Katy Perry, he also did Robin Thicke and Justin Bieber.
- In "Applause", Bart plays Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, and Justin Bieber.
- In the same video, Shane Dawson played both Amanda Bynes and Madonna.
- Bart plays both Iggy Azalea and Lorde in "Booty".
- In "Pretty Girls" he plays both Iggy Azalea and Terminator.
- Even when he isn't the face of multiple characters, it's pretty much guaranteed he is their voice.
- In the "Problem" Parody, Devyn Loera (who sings all the female vocals in the channel) voices Ariana Grande and Mariah Carey having a Loud of War. It's lampshaded by a background dancer, who says Ariana's voice is a carbon copy of Mariah's. At the end of the same video, also appears Ariana Venti, who is taller and sings even higher, despite singing exactly the same notes as Ariana Grande, but with more autotune.
- Two men in "Ain't Your Mama" meet up, frustrated that their girlfriends dumped them. They're both voiced by Bart but they sound like two different people.
- Keep Circulating the Tapes: Now that he's trying to get big in China, Bart is deleting edgier parodies from his channel.
- No Budget: Parodied. "Style" offers the possibility that the video was influenced by a lack of budget due to "Blank Space" damaging a car. The real video actually used CGI for the golf club's end and shattering glass, but this was probably just said for comedy.
- The Other Darrin:
- John Mayer is played first by Alex Farnham in "I Knew You Were Trouble" and "22" and Vaho plays him in "Dark Horse" (since Alex is playing Russel Brandt there). On the same vain Courtney Pants plays Miley Cyrus, while Bart has played her in other videos.
- Harry Styles is usually played by Bart. The only video where he isn't is in "22"note , where Harry is played by George Kimmel (there the excuse is that he is faceless during the whole video because Taylor cut his face off). However, in "Style" and "Wildest Dreams", he was portrayed by Web Video/Jacksfilms, and in "I don't wanna live forever", by Mark Valeriano.
- Katy Perry is played by Bart in "Dark Horse" and Gsnaps in "Break Free". Later Syd Wilder plays her in "Bad Blood" and "Bitch I'm Madonna". Then, Joan Urchin portrays her in "Look What You Made Me Do".
- Drake is played by Bart in "Started from the Bottom" and "Anaconda", while Ryan Johnson plays him briefly in "We Can't Stop". A Justified re-casting from "Hotline Bling" and "Work" onwards using George Khouri because in "Hotline Bling"'s Behind-the-scenes video, Bart explained how he found it troublesome to shave his head off just to remain playing as Drake when he could have to portray another artist.
- Kanye West is played by Bart in the "Bound 2" parody, but is played by Warren Barrow in the end of "Elastic Heart", "FourFiveSeconds" and "Bitch I'm Madonna".
- Britney Spears is played by Bart in "Scream and Shout", while Alex Farnham plays her in "Pretty Girls".
- Zayn has been portrayed by Alex Farnham for all of his appearances, with the exception of "Pillowtalk", where Bart Baker portrayed him instead.
- Separated-at-Birth Casting:
- Lisa Marie, who plays Jennifer Lopez in "Booty" and "We are One".
- Roland Luitgaarden, who plays Diplo in "Bitch I'm Madonna" and "Where Are You Now".
- Tiffany Tynes as Nicki Minaj in several parodies.
- Jessica Lesaca as Ariana Grande in "Problem," and every parody since.
- He seems to be really good at finding doppelgängers of artists for his parodies
