• Creator Backlash: Haruma Miura was embarrassed by the movie, according to a person alleging he was Miura's roommate when he was studying abroad in London. Apparently, Miura felt sorry for the fans of the original manga and knew the movie would be bad, to the point where he was afraid to watch it.
• Role Reprise: The English dub by Funimation has several voice actors reprising their role from the dub of the anime, including:
