Trivia / Armored Hunter Gunhound

• Keep Circulating the Tapes: Thanks to the "temporary suspension" of Dracue Software, Armored Hunter GUNHOUND EX was pulled from PLAYISM and Steam shortly after, meaning the only way to get it nowadays is through pirating it. The patches for the original and EX releases, and even the mini-game Armored Hunter GUNHOUND Pocket was also taken down with their website. The original game itself however managed to avoid this pratfall as it's still available through DLsite... without any textual translation or its bugfix patches.
• Limited Special Collector's Ultimate Edition: The PlayStation Portable version of Armored Hunter GUNHOUND EX has a Limited Edition release that includes the game, an art booklet, and a CD soundtrack containing music from the original PC game and its remake.
• No Export for You: The original was never released outside of Japan, and the PSP version of the EX also stayed in Japan. However, the PC version of EX did get an English release through PLAYISM and Steam (for a time). There was also a companion iOS and Android app for the EX remake that used to be available in Japan that allowed players to stream the voice-over dialogue of the game (albeit without subtitles) to their mobile device.
• Recursive Adaptation: The original doujin game was released for PC in 2009, then it got remade with G.rev in 2013, and then the remake got ported back to PC via PLAYISM and Steam in 2014.
• Remade for the Export: The original Armored Hunter GUNHOUND was never release overseas, but the PC version of EX did (while it lasted).
