- Real Life Writes the Plot: Revolutionary talking about his world with Team RWBY in the back half of Chapter 22 was filler that was written when Coeur couldn't remember what he originally had planned for that segment (he left his chapter notes at work over a holiday weekend), only recalling that it was an important plot point he couldn't skip and return to later.
- What Could Have Been: Coeur revealed in an author's note that he did consider including the Jaune from Raise in this story, but he decided not to because he would've had to pull that Jaune from further along in his story and character arc than he felt comfortable spoiling.
