• Actor Allusion: According to the prophecy, one Starkid will be swallowed by a giant Fox and another (Joe Moses) will lead the Jews out of Egypt and host his own One Man Showeses.
• Blooper: The recorded version of the Apocalyptour soundtrack (from one of the Los Angeles performances) has Jim Povolo as Margaret say he's eating a baguette instead of a croissant in one scene, ruining the setup for the intended joke (the texture is "flaky, like this show").
• The Cast Showoff: Meredith and Brian R are both seen playing musical instruments during "Kick It Up A Notch".
• The Danza: Everyone except Ma'au Guurit and Joey's Heart.
• The Other Darrin:
  • As in most Starkid productions since the original Darren got swallowed by a Fox, along with other missing actors. But most notable is Joe Walker replacing Jim Povolo as Mr. Freeze even though Jim Povolo is part of this tour, but unavailable because he's playing Margaret.
  • For the May 24 show where Darren joined the cast, they elected not to switch existing actors out of songs originally sung by Darren, instead choosing add a few he sang in other musicals, like "To Have a Home" from A Very Potter Sequel, and a few he didn't, like becoming the other Darren for Joey Richter in "Status Quo" from Starship.
• Reality Subtext: When Ma'au Gurrit says she's unimpressed by the show so far, she describes their songs as "skimpy" and "lyrically uninspired", taken directly from negative reviews of Starship.
• What Could Have Been: A number of the songs tease alternate fantasy castings for the past shows. Most notably, people who found Denise Donovan's singing voice wasn't strong enough to carry a lead singing role (especially since she apparently had a cold for the recorded version of Starship) greatly preferred Jaime Lyn Beatty singing February's part of "The Way I Do".
