• Corpsing: In a Slampegs video while wrestling Angelina Love, Angela can be seen grinning as Angelina hams it up.
• Creator Breakdown: Her WWE release really hit her hard, because she'd fallen in love with wrestling, and didn't know what to do once it happened. Lucha Underground provided something of a Career Resurrection for her.
  "Sometimes now I wish I didn't like it as much as I do because it would've been a lot easier to be like 'Alright, next thing'. And it wasn't like that. I was really sad for a while and had no idea what to do with myself for a couple of months."
• He Also Did: She was a member of the studio audience that became a winning contestant on the Let's Make A Deal game show.
• Playing Against Type: Black Lotus is incredibly different to her FCW persona.
• Real Life Writes the Hairstyle: When called up to the main roster as 'Savannah', she had to lighten her hair because she allegedly looked too similar to Gail Kim.
• Real Life Writes the Plot: She features less in Lucha Underground Season 3 due to her pregnancy at the time of tapings.
• Role-Ending Misdemeanor: Rumours circulated that she was fired for messing up her lines on NXT. Angela however has no idea why she was let go. The second most popular theory was that WWE didn't like her role in Ratko: The Dictator’s Son, even though it was shot before they signed her (although it wasn't as racy as the past work they took Isis The Amazon off of television for, there was precedent). The most popular fan theory, however, is that WWE was simply suffering from the allergy towards having more than one Asian woman on TV they developed around 1998 and wouldn't begin to overcome until 2017.
• Romance on the Set: She supposedly had an affair with Dolph Ziggler while he was dating Nikki Bella. The affair was mentioned in Nikki's book; while she didn't outright name Ziggler in the book, fans were able to figure out it was him thanks to the timeline, and all it took was some digging in the past history of the Bella Twins to point to Fong as the most likely candidate as the person he had an affair with.
• What Could Have Been:
  • It's widely thought she may have been a contestant on NXT Season 3 had she not been released. Especially since the rookies after AJ Lee and Naomi were far too green to appear on TV (AJ's short stint on the independent circuit was as a tag team wrestler). In fact, the original plan for NXT Season 3 was a mix of male and female rookies - and Savannah had been appearing as the ring announcer for NXT (and her replacement Jamie Keyes would first be ring announcer and then a contestant).
  • Given her untapped potential, it's entirely up in the air what role she could have played in the women's division in 2010. Especially when Beth Phoenix tore her ACL and left Smackdown severely depleted of Divas.
  • TNA approached her about a tryout once her 90 day no compete clause was up, but she turned them down because she was getting more modelling and acting opportunities. She did express a desire to join them one day, but opted to sign with Lucha Underground instead (a similar thing happened to Karlee Pérez, who joined as 'Catrina').
