- Development Hell: [USA] was initially teased in the "Pop It" video to release sometime around 2015, but no further word of it came until 2017 when songs from it started getting live debuts, and the actual album didn't come until late 2019. By the band's own account, music was being made, but they weren't satisfied with the direction it was taking, prompting them to reboot the project in 2016 and release the already-developed material as the Capsule Silence XXIV mixtape.
- Viral Marketing: The supposed Twitter rants with a video game publisher that seemed to be working on a First-Person Shooter based off the band. In reality, it's a glorified platform made to promote their newest mixtape by finding tapes in the game that let you decode the alledged soundtrack.
