- Development Hell: The idea for the series originated as a visual one - an Amazon army fighting modern American military forces, amidst the photogenic Neoclassical architecture of Washington, D.C. A series, conceived by Greg Rucka, was originally planned as a lead-in to Infinite Crisis, but the idea was shelved until the runup to Final Crisis instead.
- Teasing Creator: At first there were various discontinuity nods "The last thing we need is Amazons Attack: The Sequel" "Lest We Get Amazons Attack II", there there were various events playing on the event, such as Amazons Attacked in 2018. "Amazons Attack" remained Arc Words throughout DC Infinite Frontier until following Dark Crisis the company was finally ready to try again in 2023.
