• Disabled Character, Disabled Actor: As briefly mentioned in this Newsround article, Jamil Dhillon has cerebral palsy, much like his character Raj in the show.
• Keep Circulating the Tapes: Never released on home media - for the longest time, only one episode was available on Youtube. It has since almost all been put up on Youtube, although "The Name Game" (the first episode of Series 3) remains missing.
• One-Book Author: This is the only credit for Jamil Dhillon media-wise, having previously stated his interest in pursuing a career in web design instead.
• The Other Darrin:
  • Rupinder was played by Meera Syal in Series 1 and by Nina Wadia in Series 2 and 3.
  • Whilst Jamil Dhillon played Raj all throughout the series, his voiceover narration went from him to Luke Allder for Series 2 and 3.
• Technology Marches On: "Thick As Thieves" has Leo and Raj shoplift what are clearly VHS tapes, clearly placing the series to before the format was replaced by DVD.
