• Word of God: On Reddit and Twitter, Robert Evans has gone into detail on what the rest of the former United States has been up to ever since the United States dissolved. From this, we know such things as that California is a corporate dictatorship, and that Cascadia has a democratic confederalist-style government, as was revealed here.
• Write What You Know: Robert Evans has covered wars and revolutions, has PTSD, is a Texan and has researched into both Islamic Radicalism and the American far-right. Needless to say, all of this shows up in one form or another. Oh and he's also written a book previously that dealt with countless different drugs which he took for "research purposes".
