• Channel Hop: The series moved to the 24/7 Nick Jr. channel as of the last quarter of Season 1.
• Cowboy BeBop at His Computer: Before the show premiered, someone vandalized the show's Wikipedia page for it to say that Cheri Oteri co-created the show when she didn't.
• Dawson Casting:
  • Abby, who is 7, is voiced by the 13-year old Macy Drouin, who was 11 when she started recording.
  • Melvin, who is 4, is voiced by Christian Campbell, who is in his 40s.
• Distanced from Current Events: The episode "The Princess Flug Bug" was pulled from original airing twice and only premiered on April 1, 2022, likely because of the episode involving Princess Flug pretending to be sick to go to the doctor with the Fuzzlies due to being left out, which had similarities with the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic.
• Dueling Shows:
  • With the third season of Yo-kai Watch, another show which focuses on a young girl who wears a watch-like item that helps her with ridiculously cute critters. This show wound up winning out, as Yo-Kai Watch was frequently the lowest-rated children's show on cable television.
  • It was also this with Esme & Roy, another show about a young girl and her friend helping out other creatures. Esme and Roy won out due to it having a positive critical reception compared to the mixed reception of Abby Hatcher.
• Out of Order:
  • The episode "Hair Flair Everywhere" aired before "Hair Flair Fuzzly" and "Chef Curly", which introduced Harriet and had Curly become Chef Jeff’s assistant respectively.
  • "Mo and Bo in the Snow" aired before "The Fuzzlies in the Attic" and "Things That Go Ding in the Night", which introduced Mo and Bo in the former and Otis in the latter.
  • "There's Only One Bozzly" aired before "Princess Flug's Flower Float", which introduced Princess Flug.
  • "Teeny Pelican Terry" aired before "The Fuzzlies Camping Trip", which introduced Grumbles.
• The Other Darrin: In promotional interstitials, Abby is voiced by Sofie Zamchick instead of Macy Drouin.
• Screwed by the Network:
  • After almost eight months of airing on the main network, the show flopped and was sent to the 24/7 channel for the rest of the run. Episodes now air Sundays at 10:00 AM as part of its "Girls Rule Sundays" programming.
  • Like most shows that got sent to the 24/7 channel, the show hasn't yet had a third season announcement despite being part of Spin Master, and this might be due to the COVID-19 pandemic (though the fact that most of the cast is working on other shows now isn't a good sign).
  • Paramount+ itself would later remove the show from their service in January 2024.
• Short Run in Peru: The last half of the first season aired early in Canada long before their official airdates in the US.
• Unspecified Role Credit: The only characters listed in the end credits are the main and major recurring characters, even in episodes where they are absent.
• Working Title: When first announced, the show was titled, "Abby Hatcher, Fuzzly Catcher". When the show got close to premiering, the title was shortened to simply "Abby Hatcher".
