• Outdated by Canon: Burnin' was introduced here prior to the manga revealing her Quirk, so it is different as a result. Whereas her Quirk gave her Flaming Hair that could be torn off to release flaming projectiles in canon, Burnin' has more of a generic Playing with Fire quirk here.
• Word of God:
  • The author, dragonfire-217, has mentioned on multiple occasions he is not taking the bending elements from Legend of Korra into play for this story. He personally is not a fan of the many retcons and changes to established lore from the original series. One thing he is adament on is the daytime psychic bloodbending ability, one he explains makes no sense and is overpowered.
  • Dragonfire-217 has said when writing the story, the only pairing he had planned from the beginning was Katara and Shoto. the pairing between Izuku and Momo just fell into place as he was writing the fic. This included the feelings Tokoyami felt for Katara.
  • He also mentions that the reason for introducing the Hunters was because he felt that Animal-Quirk users were underrepresented in the actual series.
  • Despite fans requesting to have multiple characters from Avatar: The Last Airbender come to be part of the story, the author has committed to wanting this to be a Katara-focused story instead.
