- Originally, this fic was planned to have Squad Four and Dog Dash be franchises that exists in this AU. But then the author decided against it, even Retconning a mention of the former out of a prior chapter.
- One early concept for this fic was for this to be a Philips SNES-CD AU, but then the author went with a Nintendo-Sony SNES-CD AU.
