- What Could Have Been: The author originally intended for Courtney to get voted out early on and then later return via the Second Chance Challenge to wrap up her plot with Duncan, but upon realizing that they didn't have a good spot to eliminate her at, decided to keep Courtney and have Blaineley once again be the "winner" of the Second Chance Challenge instead.
