Toilet Humour / Animated Films

Go To

  • Bartok the Magnificent: A mild example, but after wolfing down Baba Yaga's potion, Ludmilla makes a very loud, vulgar burp, complete with expelling a technicolor odor to go with it.
  • Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs:
    • The original movie has a joke about Steve the monkey throwing "chocolate snowballs".
    • The sequel has Barry the strawberry creature swallowing a USB and pooping it out.
  • Delgo, being somewhat schizophrenic in its attempts to decide exactly which demographic it was trying to appeal to, naturally stooped to a bit of this. In particular is a scene in which an animal that, though it previously averted All Animals Are Dogs, proceeded to lift its leg in dog-like fashion to pee on a man, which was apparently included for no other reason than to appeal to small children and the hard of thinking.
  • The infamous "fart gun" scene from Despicable Me. The fart gun comes back twice in the first sequel. First, when Dr. Nefario is leaving Gru and the Minions to return to an Affably Evil life, the Minions give him a 21-fart-gun-salute, but he counts 22 due to one of the Minions actually farting. Second, the fart gun is instrumental in taking out the Big Bad.
  • Disney:
    • The Lion King (1994): During the song Hakuna Matata, there's an implied joke about Pumbaa farting, but Timon cuts him off.
    • The Lion King 1 ½ has this in a scene where Simba, Timon, and Pumbaa relax a pool of water bubbling like a hot tub. Pumbaa gets out and all the bubbles vanish.
    • Moana: When Moana is mad at the ocean, she tells it, "Fish pee in you!". There's also the bit where Maui pees in the ocean while Moana has her hand in it at the other end of the boat.
    • A very mild form of this trope: At one point in The Princess and the Frog, Ray the firefly yells, "Don't make me light my butt!" at the shadow demons.
    • Disney's The Wild had lots of poop jokes, when they weren't focusing on slapstick humor.
    • Wreck-It Ralph: Vanellope Von Schweetz is fond of this kind of humor, and she thinks that that the Hero's Duty game sounds like "Hero's Doody".
Ralph: It's not that kind of Duty!
  • DreamWorks Animation:
    • The Bad Guys (2022): Mr. Piranha has a bad habit of farting when he's nervous, and his farts are so potent they can knock people unconscious. Near the climax, this is weaponized to save Wolf and Diane from a death trap.
    • Flushed Away: The whole premise is about a rat who gets flushed down the toilet and ends up in the sewers.
    • Home (2015):
      • Oh uses a toilet scrubber — with water from the same — as a tongue scrubber.
      • Oh drinks "a bowl of lemonade" in a gas station's bathroom.
    • Madagascar:
Classified: We are the North Wind. And no one, no-one, breaks the wind.
    • Shark Tale, one of many lesser Dreamworks movies that had gone for gross-out humor. One of the jellyfish had made a wee-wee joke and to what they had called Oscar.
    • Quite a few toilet jokes happen in the Shrek series, although there are many non-toilet jokes also.
  • Early Man has the villain get pooped on by a giant duck.
  • Igor had made this kind of humor when the igor of Glickenstein's rival said that the jakoozie is not a bathroom, and earlier when Igor claims to have been in the bathroom and his master says that he doesn't want to hear Igor's "toilet memoirs".
  • The Iron Giant had the scene where Hogarth does a Laxative Prank on Kent and the scene where Annie and Kent think Hogarth is having trouble pooping when really he is wrestling with the giant robot's hand.
  • Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius has a few jokes like this, such as Goddard pooping lug nuts on the porch, Sheen peeing in the shower, and Jimmy inventing a soda that guarantees one burp per sip.
  • Koati: Early on, Pako makes jokes about the fact that his organs are visible from under his skin, which grosses out the younger animals. Later, a bird poops on him, and he interprets it as a good omen from Cocopa, which just makes Nachi feel nauseous.
  • In The Land Before Time XIII: The Wisdom of Friends, the Yellow-Bellies accidentally sit on top of Ducky and Petrie while sheltering from a storm and one farts on them.
  • Even Looney Tunes: Back in Action wasn't immune, perhaps from the result of Executive Meddling. We have Bugs Bunny rudely burping and the WB executives cracking up at it, and the Tasmanian Devil randomly farting (resulting in Bugs putting on a gas mask.)
  • In the commentary for My Little Pony: Equestria Girls – Rainbow Rocks, one of the creators explains the green smoke filling the cafeteria by reminding everyone it's Taco Tuesday (probably due to the belief that beans make you fart).
  • Norm of the North has a few fart jokes here and there, but the primary grossout joke from the film was when the lemmings urinate into a fish tank for several seconds.
  • Oink (2022) features a Messy Pig who proves to be more than a handful for the main character's family to deal with, primarily due to it pooping at inopportune moments. Towards the end of the film, the titular pig poops into a meat grinder, leading to poop-shaped sausages coming out and the main antagonist unknowingly taking them and cooking them for the judges not realizing until after seeing the pig still alive what these sausages really are.
  • Pixar:
    • A Bug's Life: "Hey! Who ordered the poo-poo platter?" (a bunch of flies swarm over to it)
    • The outtakes for A Bug's Life and Toy Story 2 throws in some fart jokes for cheap laughs. The latter brings a whole new meaning to the name "Stinky Pete".
    • Finding Nemo:
    • Monsters, Inc. has Boo doing a Potty Dance, Mike accidentally falling into the toilet, and the Yellow Snow joke.
    • Toy Story 3: One of the kids poops in the sandbox and Mr Potato Head thinks it's a Lincoln log, then there's Bonnie peeing, and Mr. Potato Head slipping on a puddle in the bathroom during Lotso's tour of Sunnyside.
    • The Incredibles:
      • In the first movie, Violet complains that "the only normal one [in our family] is Jack-Jack and he's not even toilet trained!", to which Dash, who'd been having trouble at school due to his powers, replies, "Lucky— I meant about being normal!"
      • The second movie has a joke about Jack-Jack pooping his diaper.
    • In Onward, after Barley gets shrunk by a misfired spell and has to be carried around in Ian's front pocket, Barley announces that he needs to use the bathroom.
      Ian: Can't it wait?
Barley: All right, it's your pocket.
    • In Turning Red, Abby asks Mei if she worked out that morning implying that she stinks and the body odour associated with Mei's giant red panda form transferred to her human form.
  • The Rugrats Movie has the scene where the babies have to change Dil's diaper, and Angelica's line during the song about babies: "A baby poops in its pantsies!".
