This timeline is pieced together using in-universe references in the Wars of Frozen Flames miniseries, as well as supplementary material provided in the Koopa Monarchy timeline.

NOTE: In the event where Wars of Frozen Flames contradicts the Koopa Monarchy timeline, with the exception of John IV's death, Wars of Frozen Flames should be given higher priority.

Prologue

1397

  • King Robert Koopa III dies after 52 years on the throne.
  • His eldest son, Prince Edrick, Duke of Koopa Kingsland, is crowned King Edrick Koopa IV before dying of the Black Plague 30 days later, earning him the epithet "The 30-Day King".
  • Edrick's sole surviving son, Richard, is crowned King Richard Koopa II at the age of nine. As he was still a minor at the time, a regency council, headed by his three surviving unclesnote , governs in his place.

1406

  • Richard II comes of age, beginning to rule without the regency council's input.

1406-1419

  • The Uprising of Bright Valley, an anarchist peasant rebellion, takes hold in the Koopa Kingdom, but is quashed almost immediately by Richard II.
  • Prince Tarquin creates a coalition of nobles with the intent on deposing Richard II from power. The coalition fails, and Tarquin and his son Joseph are executed. Prince Blayne was able to spare his son John from execution, and John is instead banished to the Bohnenkraut Kingdom.

1419

  • Prince Blayne dies, leaving John as the Duke of Kayenne Krag.
  • Fearing that John would be too powerful, Richard II keeps his holdings, lands, and titles, and orders that his three sons be executed.
  • Upon hearing the news, John returns to the Koopa Kingdom while Richard II is fighting in the Frosted Kingdom. The nobility submits upon his arrival, and John manages to overthrow his unpopular cousin, being crowned King John Koopa IV of the House of Kayenne.
  • Upon Richard II's return, he is captured and sent to the Black Tower, where he starved to death as a result of John IV neglecting to feed him.

1419-1440

  • Numerous rebellions occur during John IV's reign, but he quashes them all with the help of his son John.

1440

  • John IV dies, and his son becomes King John Koopa V.

1440-1445

  • The Hundred And Eight Years War continues, and John V holds more Bohnenkraut Kingdom land than any Koopa king since the 1000s.
  • John V manages to force the Mad King of the Bohnenkraut Kingdom, Klaus VI, to sign a treaty, marrying his daughter Klaudia, and appointing himself as heir to the Bohnenkraut throne.

1445

  • John V dies on the way to meet his newborn son Prince John, with Klaus VI dying shortly after.
  • John V's son is crowned King John Koopa VI of both the Koopa and Bohnenkraut Kingdoms at nine months old. A regency council, headed by John VI's two surviving unclesnote , governs in his place.

1445-1453

  • The son of Klaus VI, Prince Klaus, proclaims himself Klaus VII of the Bohnenkraut Kingdom, and the Hundred And Eight Years War continues.
  • Prince Blayne and his chief Lieutenant, Lord Richard Koopa of Sherbet Land, maintain a stronghold north of the Bohnenkraut Kingdom.

1453

  • John VI comes of age.
  • To keep control of the Duchy of Bohnenrotte, the King's Clawnote . Alfred De La Korde, arranged a marriage between John VI and Lord RĂ¼gar's daughter Cynder. The two are married shortly after.
  • Prince Blayne dies, and the war effort declines.

1453-1475

  • Lord Richard is replaced as Lieutenant and moved to the Frosted Kingdom.
  • Lord Richard's replacement, Lord Sigmund Phoenix, leads a failed campaign in Nordskal Ridge, fleeing back to the Koopa Kingdom and his remaining army being killed.
  • Prince Joseph openly criticizes John VI, leading him to be imprisoned. He disappears under unexplained circumstances shortly after.
  • Alfred De La Korde takes full responsibility for John VI's actions, but on his way home, he is murdered by a group of anarchist peasants.
