1944 - Larten and Arra fight the vampaneze Holly-Jane Galinec, and later find Kurda helping survivors of the war around Europe.
Late 1960's - Wester and Gavner find Larten in New York, performing with the Cirque, and tell him that he has been elected as a Vampire Prince. Alicia's daughter recognizes Wester, not Randel Chayne, as her mother's killer, and Larten fights Wester to the death, sending Gavner back with a message for Seba saying that Larten was resigning as a General and wanted nothing to do with the clan.
Vampire Blood trilogy:
Possibly 1984 - Darren Shan is blooded by Larten Crepsley in exchange for the antidote to save Steve Leopard.
Vampire Rites trilogy:
5 years after Darren is blooded (3 years before Council) - Mr. Tiny visits Gannen Harst and tells him where to search for the Vampaneze Lord.
7 1/2 years after Darren is blooded (6 months before Council) - Steve Leopard is tested in the Coffin of Fire and found to be the Lord of the Vampaneze.
8 years after Darren is blooded - Council is held at Vampire Mountain. Darren Shan attends for the first time. Upon arriving, he meets Seba Nile.
1 night after arriving at Council - Darren Shan meets Kurda Smahlt.
3 nights after arriving at Council - Kurda takes Darren on a tour of Vampire Mountain. Darren meets Vanez and Arra, and fights Arra.
4 nights after arriving at Council - Darren is presented to the Vampire Princes, who decide he must undergo the Trials of Initiation.
6 nights after arriving at Council - Darren takes on the first of his Trials.
10 nights after arriving at Council - The Festival of the Undead begins.
14 nights after arriving at Council - Darren faces the Hall of Flames.
15 nights after arriving at Council - Paris and Kurda arrange to give Darren extra time.
19 nights after arriving at Council - Darren faces the Blooded Boars and fails; attempts escape and discovers Kurda's plot.
Vampire War trilogy:
14 years after Darren is blooded (6 years after his investiture as a Vampire Prince) - Desmond Tiny tells the vampires that the Lord of the Vampaneze has been blooded, and that only Larten Crepsley and Darren Shan and one other can face him. Darren and Larten leave to do so.
6 months later - Darren is sent to school at Mahler's Academy.
