The Beginning of the Universe - 65 million years ago

Prime and Dino Dimensions

  • In the ancient past, a legend began to grow across the universe about legendary defenders who will fight to defeat evil wherever it arises. Even space traveling bounty hunters know about them. They are superpowered individuals that tap into a field called the Morphing Grid for power. Though each team cannot duplicate individual powers per se, teams of usually 5 can battle evil with weapons both magical and technological, depending on how the morphing grid is accessed. They are known as the Power Rangers.

Prime Dimension

  • Hyper-dimensional beings called the Morphin' Masters make their home in the Grid.
  • The Knights of Rafkon defend their home planet from the onslaught of Sporix Beasts, a mad science experiment gone horribly wrong. The entire planet of Rafkon was reduced to a wasteland, and the Knights opted to follow the Sporix to stop them from ruining any other planets.
  • The pursuit of the Sporix takes the Knights to Earth, where they fight alongside the dinosaurs. They receive aid from the Morphin' Masters, who teach the Knights how to channel the spirits of the dinosaurs to connect to the Morphin' Grid as Dino Fury Power Rangers.
  • While the Dino Fury Rangers successfully stopped the Sporix, most of them fell in battle and Gold Ranger Aiyon goes missing in action. While the Sporix are contained, there is no way to truly destroy them, so Red Ranger Zayto opts to go into stasis, watched over by the loyal solonosaurus Solon.
  • Solon lives alone in her underground bunker for 65 million years, turning herself into a cyborg to keep herself alive.

Dino Dimension

  • At an unknown time, 10 gems of great good power are created: The Energems. Unfortunately, as a residue of their creation, the dark energy left behind becomes the Dark Energem.
    • While the 10 Energems are entrusted to the Alien, Keeper and his apprentice, Xenowing, the Dark Energem is hidden away on the planet Sentai 6.

New Dino Timeline

  • Finally setting their sights on the Energems, Sledge and his crew shoot down the Energem's guardian Keeper on Earth. However, Keeper from the distant future sends 10 power rangers back in time to stop Sledge before he ever had the chance to destroy the earth.
    • 6 of the rangers meet up with Keeper, and with their bonds from beyond time, claim their energems. Intrigued by this development, Sledge and his general Fury go down to retrieve the energems.
    • Fighting valiantly and trickily, The rangers destroy Fury, but Sledge grows himself to crush them.
    • However, this was all a diversion as Heckyl and the other 4 rangers storm the ship, catch sledge with an electronet, and send all crew and prisoners into the sun.
      • Only Heximas escapes on the last escape pod, spending his time trying to perfect vivicks and create a magnabeam from scratch.
    • With the timeline secure, the past Keeper sends the rangers back to their original times, while entrusting Zenowing and Heckyl to go back in time to stop Archenon from ever taking the dark energem.

Prime Universe

  • Due to a malfunction from testing time travel, the experimental Quantasaurus-Rex Zord is sent back in time on accident.
    • Seeking it out later on, a mutant, along with Time Force Red Ranger Wes Collins and Quantum Ranger Eric Myers, go to retrieve it from the past. They all return to 2001 after the monster takes the Q-Rex from the past with its powers.

     100, 000 years ago

Dino Dimension

  • A caveman, Koda, finds the blue Energem. He then defends his younger brother, Taku, from a Smilodon, but falls off a cliff. Thanks to the Energem's power, he's preserved in the ice for years afterward.

10, 000 years ago (prime dimension)

The Great Space Conflict

  • Around 8,997 BCE, Rita Repulsa came into conflict with the wizard, Zordon of Eltar. In their conflict, Zordon had several knights who would fight for him, while battling Rita across the galaxy.
    • The battle lasted 2,000 years, and during that time, Rita pledged herself to Lord Zedd, Emperor of Evil. He assigned her the job of conquering Earth, and to that end, she took over a palace built on the moon by the forces of Good. Beneath the palace is a mystical artifact called the Zeo Crystal, placed there by inhabitants of the M-51 galaxy, but it becomes inaccessible by both sides. The forces of good couldn't reclaim the palace, and the forces of evil couldn't reach the crystal without a spirit of good.
    • Also in this time, Zordon began setting up Zords across the galaxy for emergencies, as well as a "pupil" named Gosei who could awaken to defend Earth if the need arose. He also discovered 5 Power Coins, forged by the great Ninjor, and imbued with powers modeled after Earth's dinosaurs; also found is a map to his Temple of Power.
    • Also during this period, Rita's father, Master Vile, begins his evil activities.
  • At the end of their war, Zordon and Rita, exhausted by the fighting, decided to do a coin toss to determine the winner. Zordon won, and thus imprisoned Rita with her lieutenants in a stone "dumpster" on the moon.
    • However, in spite, before being locked away, Rita locked Zordon in a time warp, so that he could only communicate through an energy tube.
  • Despite his victory, Zordon recognized that evil could return, so began building a Command Center near the future town of Angel Grove. He also took on a robot from Edenoi named Alpha 5 to serve as his assistant in the physical world, due to his lack of ability.

The Beast Wars

  • Around 16 years after Zordon began his war, the dragon Dai Shi lead an army of beasts to destroy all humankind. He had the support of most of the animal kingdom, with his overlords Jellica, Carnisaur, and Grizzaka being his generals.
    • However, some factions of animals refused. They formed their own Phantom Beast army, led by 8 generals who resisted Dai Shi and the defenders of the Earth: the Pai Zhua Order of the Claw.
    • Fighting back, the Order of the Claw imprisons the Phantom Beasts in crystal eyes, removing them from battle. They then destroy the Overlords, leaving only their stone likenesses, and imprison Dai Shi's spirit in a chest.
    • Following this, some members of the order, such as the shark master went on to form families to pass on their wisdom if Dai Shi ever returned. Others passed into the afterlife, including Masters Gwin, Rilla, and Lope.
    • However, one member of Dai Shi's army managed to evade destruction: Camille the Chameleon. Hiding in Dai Shi's old palace thanks to her camoflage, she then began a long wait for his return. With the belief that this Undying Loyalty would be rewarded.

     5, 000 years ago
  • A band of demons, lead by their queen, Bansheera, terrorize the Earth, operating from their demonic temple near a body of water that would later be called Mariner Bay. Bansheera has a loyal council of demons, all serving her, and caring for her son, Impus. However, their reign of terror was finally halted when a powerful warlock defeated the demons single-handedly, trapping them in a stone chest dubbed the "Tomb of Forever" in a secret tomb in the desert. In order to maintain the spell, the warlock sealed himself in the tomb too, using his lifeforce to seal the demons away.

     3, 000 years ago

The Org War

  • A war between animal warriors of the Kingdom of Animaria, and beings called the Orgs begins. It was a peaceful time for the Earth, with humans and animals at a peace after the Beast Wars. However, the Orgs wanted to destroy all nature and pollute the planet. Eventually, 6 warriors manage to drive back the Orgs and killed Master Org.
    • During the course of the battles though, the warrior Merrick puts on a cursed wolf mask to win the war. He succeeds, but the mask turns him evil, forcing the other 5 warriors to seal him away.
    • As the war takes a turn for the worse, the Animarium, Shayla's home, is raised into the sky, creating a lake in the area, that would eventually be called Turtle Cove.
    • Due to the destruction of the war, animal spirits such as the Elephant, Giraffe, and Falcon Zords are lost into the land as animal crystals.

The Quasar Conflict

  • Also around this time, there was a great battle on the distant planet of Mirinoi. A group of Zords called the Galactabeasts served under warriors who wielded Quasar Sabers, and fought off the warrior Scorpius.
    • During the conflict, the Phoenix, Rhino, and Shark Galactabeasts are lost to space. They are later recovered by the warrior Deviot to be repurposed into the Strataforce, Centaurus and Zenith Galactazords.
    • Also during this conflict, one warrior, the Magna Defender, loses his son, Zika, to Scorpius. While swearing vengeance, his body falls into a crevice on Mirinoi, trapping his spirit underground.
    • Also around this time, the mysterious Lost Galaxy is known to have been around, linked to a mysterious tome dubbed the Galaxy Book, which depicts the Galactabeasts and can open portals to the Lost Galaxy; eventually the space pirate Captain Mutiny becomes the primary power in the Lost Galaxy.
    • Following the battle, the 5 Quasar Sabers are embedded in stone by Zordon, awaiting the next warriors to be chosen to wield them.

Between 65 million years ago and the 1700's
  • An ancient crown in a galaxy, the Corona Aurora, is protected by a being called The Sentinel Knight. However, 2 brothers, Moltor and Flurious try to steal the crown's power for their own. However, sensing their impure hearts, the crown mutated the brothers and imprisoned them on ice and fire planets. In order to keep the crown safe from evil, the Sentinel Knight scatters the jewels and the crown on Earth, leaving ancient clues to find their location, but also hiding them from evil.
    • Other forces in the universe would hear of the Crown through, prompting the Fearcats to begin scouring the universe for it. In addition, Miratrix and her master, Camdor, begin searching for the gems.
      • At an unknown time, Camdor is imprisoned in a gem. Miratrix seeks to find a way to free him.
  • Sometime between ancient times and modern times, there were other teams of Rangers who defended Earth and other planets from conquerors and invaders. Many of their names have been lost to history, though their powers would be rediscovered in the future.
  • The Nighloks of the Netherworld begin attacks on Earth, with the explicit purpose of conquering it. Their leader was Serrator, the Nighlok King who planned on splitting the Earth allowing the Nighloks, and the Sanzu river that serves as their lifeblood, to flood the Earth.
    • Around the 1700's, Serrator crafts a powerful sword called Uramasa. The sword is fueled by rage and was meant to be a powerful weapon, though through unknown means ended up in the hands of an ordinary human named Deker.
    • The sword was intended as a wedding present from his wife Dalia, but due to a fire, they were both injured. Serrator promised to save Deker's life in return for Dalia's eternal service as a Nighlok. She agreed, but as a cruel twist, Serrator made Deker unable to remember who she was to him, giving him bloodlust to wander the world forever until a worthy opponent struck him down. Dalia took on the name Dayu in shame.
  • However, sometime later, Serrator was unable to lead the Nighloks and passed leadership to Master Xandred, who became the most powerful and feared Nylock.

Dino Dimension

  • Around the year 1215, the knight Sir Ivan was escorting his liege: Prince Colin of Zandar. They stopped for a drink, and Ivan happened upon the Gold Energem, which, sensing his nobility, bonded with him. However, Fury of Sledge's army then attacked Ivan and the Prince for the gem. Ivan managed to fully bond with the gem in the battle, but Fury then contains his spirit within himself. Fortunately, in the struggle, the Gold Energem falls into the river, passing back to the Prince. The Energem is then christened the Stone of Zandar in honor of their nation.
    • Shortly before his disappearance, Ivan unknowingly fathered an illegitimate child that he did not know of.

     Between the 1700's and 1993
  • Kimberly ends up having adventures in the Wild West where Angel Grove would be in the future, even interacting with the ancestors of future Mighty Morphin Rangers Tommy, Billy, Rocky, Adam, and Aisha.
  • Sometime before 2000, William Mitchell, a father of 2, acts as a firefighter. In one fire, he saved the life of a young boy named Carter Grayson. After the experience, Carter dedicates his life to that man's memory, becoming a firefighter himself.
  • Roughly around 1985, Captain Mitchell was driving with his children, Dana and Ryan, but due to a car crash, he almost lost his son. In order to save his life, he gives up Ryan to the demon, Diabolico, who promises him that he won't see Ryan until his 20th birthday.
  • Around 1986, The Master (also known as Octomus) makes his first attempt to reach and conquer both the magical dimension and Earth. His general, Morticon, leads the attack, with Necrolai and others all trying to defeat the heroic wizards of Rootcore.
    • The greatest warriors of the side of good included the knight Leanbow, his wife Udonna, his students Daggeron and Imperious, and Udonna's sister Niella. Together, along with several of their friends, they fought a long war, driving The Master and his forces back. However, out of jealousy, Imperious betrayed the others, forcing them to seal him and Daggeron behind a good magic barrier.
      • Also during this time, the warrior Jenji got turned into a genie, forcing him to stay in a lamp, and getting stuck with Daggeron and Imperious as Daggeron's partner.
    • At the end of the war, Leanbow pursued The Master behind the dark gates to the Underworld, having Niella cast a spell to seal the gate and lower them. However, due to the strain of the spell, Niella dies afterward, leaving behind only her circlet of The Gatekeeper.
    • Sadly, Leanbow, for all his heroism, is corrupted by The Master, becoming his Wolf Knight, Koragg. However, as Leanbow is always fighting from the inside, Koragg possesses a peculiar code of honor that seeks the strongest warrior to defeat.
    • Also during the war, Leanbow and Udonna's son, Bowen, was taken to across the dimensional barrier to Earth by the goblin/troll Phineas to be safe from harm's way, where he was adopted and given the name Nick Russell.
    • With her son thought dead, and her husband thought lost, Udonna takes over as caretaker of Rootcore, and begins raising her niece, Claire, a young witch.
  • A generation before 1998, two citizens of KO-35, a planet with human inhabitants, are born. They are brother and sister Andros and Karone. They're given portraits to remember each other, but in their childhood, the alien bounty hunter Darkonda, kidnaps Karone. She is given to the warrior Ecliptor to raised as evil and given the name Astronema, intended to live as Dark Specter's Princess of Evil.
    • Years later, the United Alliance of Evil- led by lava demon Dark Specter and comprised of many of the evil forces in the universe- begins operating in the universe, and the Space Rangers, Andros and Zhane, work to defend KO-35 from attack. During the battle, Zhane is critically injured and placed in cryostasis in order to keep him alive.
  • A generation before 2011, Samurai warriors fought the Nighlok, with their leader, the Red Ranger separating his son, Jayden, and daughter, Lauren, to protect them both. Lauren was sent to train up the ultimate sealing spell to ensure the Nighlok would never rise again. Jayden meanwhile was given to the mentor to raise and act like the Head of the Shiba Clan, when actually Lauren was the True leader.
    • In their battle against Xandred, the Samurai Rangers were defeated, but using his last ounce of strength, Jayden's father managed to temporarily seal Xandred back in the Netherworld until the next generation of Samurai warriors could fight him.

1993-96: Mighty Morphin' vs. Rita and Zedd
  • Astronauts exploring the Moon (or some sort of planetoid) discover Rita's space dumpster and open it, unleashing her upon Earth again. She moves back to the Moon Palace and begins carrying out plans against Earth.
    • In response, Zordon and his assistant Alpha 5 recruit 5 teenage friends (Jason Scott, Zack Taylor, Billy Cranston, Trini Kwan, and Kimberly Hart) in order to combat Rita's forces as the first publicly-known team of Power Rangers.
    • In frustration for having her monsters destroyed time after time, Rita decides to create her own Ranger: the evil Green Ranger, with a new arrival in Angel Grove, Tommy Oliver. She had acquired the Green Dragon Coin sometime before in her war against Zordon, along with a Dragonzord.
      • Tommy does a massive amount of damage against the Rangers, throwing them into chaos, but in the end, the Rangers free Tommy from Rita's control as their 6th Ranger.
      • In response, Rita creates a Green Candle that weakens Tommy's powers. While Zordon gives Tommy an energy boost to continue fighting, it's only temporary.
  • After several setbacks, Rita's superior, Lord Zedd arrives on the Moon, driving Rita out and taking command of the war for the Earth.
    • He ruins the Dinozords, but the Rangers then use the power of thunder to turn the Dinozords into the Thunderzords, forcing Zedd back.
  • In time, Tommy's Green Ranger powers run out, but recognizing his importance to the team, Zordon and Alpha instead create a new power: the White Ranger power for Tommy to wield along with a new Zord.
  • Also around this time, three of the Rangers (Jason, Zack, and Trini) pass on their powers to three new friends (Rocky DeSantos, Adam Park, and Aisha Campbell) as they prepare for a peace conference in Switzerland.
  • Then, Rita returns from her banishment, uses a love potion on Zedd, and marries him. This allows her to work with Zedd to continue their war with the Rangers.
  • During this time, Edenoi is rendered an uninhabitable wasteland by the warlord Count Dregon, who forces the Edenites into slavery to mine poisonous gases. King Lexian and his son, Prince Dex, are amongst the slaves, but secretly work to form a resistance movement, with Dex gaining the power to transform into the Masked Rider, a legendary warrior passed down through Edenoi's history. Alpha 5 realizes Edenoi is in trouble and Zordon orders the Rangers to investigate, only for Dex and his allies to briefly fight the Rangers, thinking they're allies of Dregon. But when the truth is revealed, Dex and the Rangers team up to stop some of Dregon's forces; the Rangers return home, while Dex himself is tasked with going to Earth to stop Dregon himself, who has set sights on the planet. Dex is adopted by the Stewart family and adjusts to Earth, while battling Dregon and his Insectivores. Eventually, Dregon is defeated.
  • Shortly thereafter, Rita's brother, Rito Revolto, arrives on the moon, and with the help of a band of monsters, destroys the Thunderzords, and damages the Power Coins.
    • As Zordon only found the coins, rather than made them, the Rangers seek out the forger of the power coins: Ninjor.
    • Ninjor grants the Rangers new powers and coins, based on the ancient Ninja, with the new animal-based Ninjazords, and joins them as their new mentor and occasional aid in battle.
  • Using new strategies, Rita and Zedd begin to make long term plans and gain short-term victories against the Rangers. Their first success was a bait-and-switch plan which allowed them to steal the Pink Power Coin, kidnap Ninjor, and steal the Falconzord. The Rangers manage to get a new set of Zords, the Shogunzords, to continue the fight, but it's a major blow against them, with Lord Zedd being able to enter the Command Center.
  • Kimberly is given a chance to pursue a gymnastics career. Driving her to exhaustion, Rita and Zedd almost kill her, but their spy Katherine Hillard (a teenager they kidnapped) has a change of heart and rescues Kimberly, who in turn passes on the Pink Ranger powers to her.
  • Rita's father Master Vile comes to visit and, taking the initiative, he begins to devastate the Rangers' weapons with his own Globbor monster, which absorbs the powers of both them and Ninjor.
    • Ninjor and the Falconzord are rescued, but Globbor is too powerful. The Rangers regroup, and in order to prevent Vile from gaining the powers of the Zeo Crystal, Tommy retrieves it from under Zedd's palace. Working together, they manage to defeat Vile and Globbor, with the help of Ninjor and a new Megazord configuration.
      • The Zeo Crystal is then broken up into 5 parts and scattered to keep it from evil hands.
  • Using a new time travel spell, Master Vile turns the Rangers into children, rendering them unable to morph.
  • Calling upon the Rangers of Aquitar to cover while the Rangers of the Earth are children, the Aquitian Rangers manage to frustrate Vile enough for him to return to his own galaxy. Lord Zedd eagerly takes back over as leader of the war for Earth.
  • The Rangers use a device to turn Billy back to normal, but then Goldar and Rito take the Power Coins, and using magic, Zedd and Rita crush the ninja coins into dust.
  • It's determined that the Rangers can be restored with the Zeo Crystal. The 5 child Rangers are sent to different places and times to locate each of the Zeo Subcrystals and return them to the Command Center.
  • Young Rocky must prove his courage to retrieve his Zeo Subcrystal from a volcano in Mexico, Young Adam travels to Korea and meets a wise sage that leads him to his Zeo Subcrystal, Young Katherine must pass a test of character to earn her Zeo Subcrystal in Australia, Young Tommy meets a wise Native American who helps him reveal his Zeo Subcrystal, and Young Aisha's quest takes her to Africa where she befriends Tanya Sloan but she chooses to not return. She sends Tanya back in her place.
  • Goldar and Rito steal the Zeo Crystal and teleport out, as their previously-planted bomb goes off, leading Alpha to teleport the Rangers out, just as the Command Center blows up. The explosion also causes Rito and Goldar to drop the Zeo Crystal and subsequently lost their memories for a time.
1996-97: Zeo vs. the Machine Empire
  • The Machine Empire (having broken away from the United Alliance of Evil) arrives at the moon, driving Zedd and Rita out of the palace, returning to Master Vile's galaxy for now, but with Zedd swearing that they'll return.
    • Lead by King Mondo and Queen Machina, along with their son Sprocket, the Royal House of Gadgetry swears to destroy the Rangers and take Earth for their own.
    • Meanwhile, the Rangers discover a hidden Power Chamber underneath the ruins of the old one. Using the Zeo Crystal (with Billy choosing to stay on as a technical advisor), they become the Power Rangers Zeo, dedicated to fighting the Machine Empire.
  • Trey of Triforia, possessing the Gold Ranger powers, lands on Earth, but due to the actions of Mondo and Machina, he can't hold onto the powers. In response, Tommy brings Jason back onto the team to become the Gold Ranger.
  • The Super Zeo Zords are created from the Super Zeo Gems to help battle a powerful fleet of revived monsters alongside the Gold Ranger.
  • King Mondo is destroyed for a time, but being a machine, he's eventually repaired.
    • In the interim, fights break out for the right to be his successor. A bomb monster, intended by Rita and Zedd to destroy the empire, mutates into Louie Kaboom and briefly attempts to rule, before Mondo's disgraced son, Prince Gasket (and his wife, Archerina), assumes the throne, as Prince Sprocket is too young and weak to take on the position.
  • Tommy is brainwashed into thinking he's the King of the Machine Empire as a ploy to destroy the other Rangers, but realizing this would render their work useless, Zedd and Rita teleport all the other Rangers in to save Katherine from being killed through the power of friendship. Also during this time, Bulk and Skull lead a prison break of the Machine Empire, becoming heroes on an alien planet.
  • The Gold powers begin rejecting Jason, so to save his life, they transfer the powers back to Trey. Together, they fight off Mondo one more time, while Zedd and Rita blow up the House of Gadgetry with a bomb.
  • Shortly thereafter, Zedd and Rita attempt to take over Earth again, but are foiled, forcing them to flee Earth forever, and having Zedd hide Serpentera on the moon.
     1997-98: Turbo vs. Divatox
  • The space pirate Divatox attacks Earth, attempting to unseal the lava demon Maligore from his prison on the island of Muiranthias. The Zeo powers aren't seen as enough to handle the threat, forcing the creation of the Turbo powers and Turbozords to help fight Divatox.
  • Tommy, Adam, and Rocky are training for an upcoming martial arts tournament, but Rocky fails a jumping kick and lands on his back, critically injuring him. At the hospital, a young friend of Rocky's, Justin Stewart, comes to visit Rocky, but he hides when the Rangers come to visit. Their communicators go off and they are summoned to the Power Chamber, unaware that Justin has overheard them, but Rocky discovers that Justin was hiding and has found out this Rocky and his friends are the Power Rangers. Justin is eventually given Zordon's blessing to take Rocky's place and become the Blue Turbo Ranger.
  • When Zordon and Alpha 5 leave the Power Chamber to return to Zordon's home planet, Eltar, the mentorship of the Rangers falls to the spectral Dimitria of Inquiris and the street-talkin, Alpha 6.
  • Deciding it's time to pass the mantle of Rangers onto a new team, Tommy, Adam, Tanya and Katherine hand the Turbo powers over to TJ Johnson, Carlos Vallete, Ashley Hammond, and Cassie Chan.
  • Divatox's brother, General Havoc, arrives to help fight the Rangers. He does have several clever plans but defeated at every turn, he ends up leaving once again.
  • Divatox hires the greatest criminal in the universe, Goldgoyle, to destroy the Rangers; they end up sacrificing their Megazords and weapons to defeat him. With the Rangers now vulnerable, Divatox orders an all-out assault on the Power Chamber. Meanwhile, Dimitria returns to try and aid Zordon on Eltar, which was under attack from the United Alliance of Evil.
    • In Divatox's final assault, Storm Blaster and Lighting Cruiser are captured, the Power Chamber is destroyed, and the Turbo powers eradicated. However, before she can resume attacks on Earth, Divatox is recalled by Dark Specter to reunite with the other members of the UAE. With no other options, TJ, Carlos, Ashley, Cassie, and Alpha 6 board a space shuttle to go after Divatox and save Earth.
      • Justin, however, opts to stay behind on Earth with his dad.
1998-99: Space Rangers vs. the United Alliance of Evil
  • With Zordon captured, the UAE unites to celebrate their assured victory over the universe. However, at the toast, they discover that Andros, the Red Space Ranger infiltrated their ranks. To put an end to the Rangers forever, Dark Specter assigns the Princess of Evil, Astronema, to defeat and destroy the Rangers.
    • Meanwhile, TJ, Carlos, Ashley and Cassie are picked up by Andros's ship, the Astro Megaship. After some convincing by the Rangers and Alpha 6, Andros deputizes the 4 Earth rangers into his new team: the Space Rangers.
  • Astronema attempts several different plans to defeat the Rangers or cause chaos, including recruiting the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
    • The Rangers, meanwhile, search for Zordon, finding several false leads, and acquiring several new Megazords along the way.
  • Later on, the Rangers revive Zhane, the Silver Ranger from cryostasis after he was finished healing. Though his powers have a time limit at first, a lightning strike eliminates this; he joins the team fulltime, helping across the galaxy.
  • Realizing that she and Andros are brother and sister, Astronema is betrayed by Darkonda, but rescued by Ecliptor, who came to truly love her as his daughter. The rangers escape with Karone/Astronema, but their victory is short lived. Darkonda (under Dark Specter's orders) has Ecliptor modified with new circuitry that makes him more evil than before.
    • Dark Specter sends an asteroid at Earth, and Karone volunteers to go to the Dark Fortress to stop it. However, she's recaptured, forcing the Rangers to use all their Megazords to push it out of the way. With the threat reversed, Andros and Zhane try to rescue Karone, but she too, has been given brainwashing implants to make her Astronema again, and they're forced to leave without her.
  • With her new implants though, Astronema plans to usurp Dark Specter, and so creates the Psycho Rangers. Stronger, faster and more intelligent than the Rangers, they're also tied into Dark Specter's energy, allowing Astronema to weaken him while her Psychos are fighting.
    • The Rangers are put on the ropes by the Psychos, but using teamwork, creativity and ingenuity, they eventually destroy the Psychos' bodies.
  • Shortly afterwards, the UAE launches a final all-out assault on the universe, with evil forces overrunning planets, and many Rangers and allies are captured. The Space Rangers attempt to defend Earth, but ultimately fail. Angel Grove is then held hostage by Astronema, who threatens to destroy the Earth if the Rangers aren't handed over. Meanwhile, Darkonda attempts to take out the Dark Fortress and Dark Specter, but as he is killed, Dark Specter swallows Darkonda whole; as a result, Astronema becomes Empress of Evil. Zordon attempts to reason with her, but her implants prevent this. Andros then boards the Dark Fortress to rescue Zordon and his sister. Zordon then instructs Andros to shatter his tube- this will save the universe form the UAE. Andros can't bring himself to kill Zordon, and fights against his sister. In the meantime, the citizens of Angel Grove- including Bulk and Skull- have all declared themselves to be the Rangers, and the real Rangers morph in public, revealing their identities. A massive fight against the UAE forces ensues, and Andros shatters Zordon's tube, releasing a wave of good energy that spreads throughout the universe, turning many villains to sand, while others, including Rita, Zedd and Divatox, are purified. Karone is thought to be dead, but Andros' tears manage to bring her back to life, now free of brainwashing.
  • In the end, Andros, Zhane, and Karone decide to join the Rangers back on Earth, returning in the Astro Megaship to Earth at last.
1999-2000: Galaxy Rangers vs. Scorpius and Trakeena
  • Sometime after the fall of the United Alliance of Evil, Earth has constructed a space colony called Terra Venture to establish a new world for humanity.
    • Unfortunately, around the same time, Scorpius sends his general, Furio, to retrieve the Quasar Sabers. Escaping to Earth by magic, one of the villagers, Maya, runs into several crew members for Terra Venture (Kai Chen, Kendrix Morgan, and Mike Corbett) as well as the stowaway Leo Corbett (Mike's brother). Though Kai chooses not to come help Maya's people, he later remembers the words of Commander Stanton and recruits Alpha 6, the decommissioned Astro Megaship and its mechanic, Damon Henderson to go help.
    • Arriving on Mirinoi, the 6 of them fight Furio, and in the heat of battle, draw the Quasar Sabers, chosen to fight evil. In retaliation, Furio turns the planet to stone, and sends Mike into a crevasse; Mike manages to pass his Quasar Saber to Leo, and the five become the Galaxy Rangers. The Rangers escape and return to Terra Venture to serve as the colony's defenders.
    • However, Mike's body was found by the Magna Defender's spirit, and joining together, the Defender revives himself to continue his crusade against Scorpius.
  • Meanwhile, the Galaxy Rangers gain new weapons to defend the colony: Transdaggers that unfold into unique weapons, the Galactabeasts who become their Megazord, and in time, the Lights of Orion, which give them an upgraded form when together.
    • During the search for the lights, Furio is killed and replaced by the general, Treacheron. Jealous of him, Scorpius's daughter, Trakeena, frames him, and in his quest to regain his honor, Treacheron is killed by the Rangers.
  • In time, Mike's spirit begins fighting back against the Magna Defender's revenge-filled attacks, and in time, he gives his life for the colony, bringing Mike back.
    • Thanks to this, Mike gains the Magna Defender's powers, while Leo becomes calmer and controlled after gaining affirmation from his brother on his worth as a Ranger.
  • During a rescue mission, the Galaxy Book is recovered. Meanwhile, Deviot arrives on Scorpius's ship to gain the power of a special cocoon. He then sends the Stratoforce, Centaurus and Zenith Galactazords to destroy the Galaxy Rangers.
    • The Galaxy Book gives the Galaxy Rangers the ability to recognize Deviot's zords as the missing Galactabeasts, eventually freeing them from his control.
  • Tricked by Deviot into believing that the Rangers have his daughter, Scorpius is killed in battle against the Rangers.
    • Meanwhile, Trakeena receives training from Villamax and Kegler. She returns in time to see her father die and swears revenge on the Rangers. Villamax and Deviot become her generals.
  • Deviot tries to assassinate Trakeena when she tries to execute Leo, but she fights the assassin off, cementing her authority.
  • Plotting a new attack, Deviot retrieves the Psycho Rangers' data cards, reviving them, and sending them to the Galaxy Rangers. Only Leo escapes capture, thanks to Andros intervening. Calling on help from the other Space Rangers, and pulling a few distractions, the two Ranger teams destroy four of the Psychos.
    • However, Psycho Pink recovers the Savage Sword, and using it, destroys Cassie's Astro Morpher, causing an energy cyclone that begins affecting the colony. The two Ranger teams destroy Psycho Pink in a Megazord brawl, but the energy isn't dispersed.
    • Kendrix then runs to the eye of the storm and destroys the sword. But the energy feedback, in turn, destroys her body, making her among the first Rangers to give her life in the line of duty. Cassie's morpher is repaired, but the Space Rangers return to Earth in somber condition.
  • Following this, Kendrix's spirit contacts Maya, telling her where to find her Quasar Saber, which flew off after her death. The Rangers and Trakeena engage in a race to retrieve it first. However, a new ally of the Rangers reveals herself: none other than Karone, Andros's sister.
    • In the chase, Kendrix's spirit gives Karone the Pink Transmorpher, and upon recovering the saber, Karone takes up the mantle of Pink Galaxy Ranger.
  • Following this, Leo experiences a power drain, but with Karone's assistance, she leads him to a warrior who grants Leo his keys, that give him a Battlizer.
  • Later, a mishap with the Galaxy Book lands Terra Venture in the Lost Galaxy, far off of Terra Venture's original route.
    • They also run afoul of the local power: Captain Mutiny. Deviot joins up with him, gaining a new more powerful form, while the Rangers struggle to find a way out of the Lost Galaxy.
    • Eventually, they use a spell to return, but Mike has to sacrifice the Magna Defender powers in order to do so. Captain Mutiny follows them, but upon his entrance, Trakeena destroys him.
  • Deviot returns to Trakeena, but not believing his stories, she orders him killed. He, in turn, takes Trakeena with him into the cocoon. However, due to her stronger spirit, she emerges the dominant personality when their bodies merge, though with a more robotic voice and slightly less restraint than before.
  • Terra Venture, meanwhile, finds an Earth-like planet to colonize. However, Trakeena attacks, forcing the colony to crash on the moon and evacuate.
  • Trakeena launches an attack on the Rangers, attaching bombs to her Stingwingers to ensure their victory. They manage to destroy the Stratoforce and Centaurus Megazords, but the Rangers manage to destroy the rest of them.
    • Fully evacuated, Trakeena plans to blast the shuttles into oblivion, but Villamax refuses. However, he still will not attack Trakeena, so she kills him.
    • The Rangers then use the Astro Megaship to crash the Scorpion Stinger, sacrificing the ship in the process.
  • However, Trakeena survives, and entering the cocoon a second time, she mutates into a fully insectoid form. Then, using her powers, she re-energizes Terra Venture's main dome, planning to destroy the colonists with its crash.
    • The Rangers go to stop her (Leo first due to being separated in the crash), but she proves almost unstoppable. In an act of desperation, Leo uses his Battlizer to attack her point blank, critically injuring her. Leo survives, and the Galaxy Megazord redirects the dome to crash land safely away from everyone.
  • Exploring the planet further, the Rangers discover they've crashed on Mirinoi. With their journey having come full circle, Maya instructs the Rangers to return their Sabers, now that their time as Rangers is over.
    • Returning the Quasar Sabers to the stone, the magic of the sabers demorphs the Rangers, frees the people of Mirinoi from stone, and even brings Kendrix back to life.
  • Meanwhile, growing up in the Shiba house, Jayden made a friend named Antonio. While not a samurai by birth, they loved training and playing together, and when Antonio left, he promised he'd return just as strong as Jayden would be.
  • Presumably around this time, Operation: Lightspeed perfects the Ranger technology as anti-demonic gear to protect Mariner Bay from a future demonic attack. They set up in their underwater Lightspeed Aquabase.
2000-01: Lightspeed Rescue vs. Queen Bansheera
  • When desert travelers accidentally find the warlock's tomb, they inadvertently release the demons Diabolico, Lokai, Vypra, and the queen's son Impus. They return to find their demonic temple now buried under the city of Mariner Bay. They plan to destroy the city for trespassing on their land.
    • However, the government had long been preparing for this day, with General McKnight granting command of Operation: Lightspeed to none other than Captain Mitchell. Upon the demon's release, Mitchell recruits 4 civilians alongside his daughter Dana (who has become a paramedic). Joel Rawlings, a stunt pilot, Kelsey Winslow, an extreme athlete, Chad Lee, a swimmer and martial arts expert, and Carter Grayson, a skilled firefighter, who was inspired by being rescued by Mitchell in his youth. Together, they form the Lightspeed Rescue Rangers.
    • The Rangers never act alone though, as the Aquabase is constantly inventing new Zords, weapons, and other gear to help with their fight, thanks to the brilliant mid of Dr. Angela Fairweather.
  • General McKnight tests out "cyborg" Rangers as new anti-demon weaponry, but due to sabotage from a lightning demon, the robots go on a rampage and are destroyed by the human Rangers.
  • After failed experimentation with a new Titanium Morpher by Lightspeed, Ryan is finally called into action by Diabolico, stealing the Morpher for himself to fight the Rangers.
    • Finally figuring out the Titanium Ranger's identity, Captain Mitchell manages to convince Ryan to stay and help. However, Diabolico curses him with a cobra tattoo that moves every time he morphs, to eventually bite his neck and kill him.
    • Seeking a cure, Ryan defeats the cobra monster and lifts his curse, and returning to aid the Rangers, pilots the new Max Solarzord; Diabolico himself goes on the offensive and beats the Rangers senseless. However, the new Lightspeed Solarzord combination manages to absorb Diabolico's blast and return it to him in an energy barrage, which destroys Diabolico temporarily.
      • Diabolico's Star Power energy then transfers to Impus, which ages him up into the mighty Olympius, the new demon commander.
  • Shortly afterwards, the demons prepare a ceremony to bring Bansheera's body back, during a time where the planets align. Ryan manages to interrupt the ceremony, which leaves Bansheera trapped in a cocoon-like form.
  • Ryan then decides to go searching for a way to seal away the demons forever. In order to utilize the Max Solarzord, Dr. Angela Fairweather modifies the Zord to work with the other Rangers' Battle Boosters, and the new Omega Megazord is deployed to stop an asteroid from crashing into Mariner Bay.
  • However, resentful of Olympius's arrogant reign on his mother's behalf, Vypra and Loki revive Diabolico. They're pushed to the brink of civil war, but Bansheera shows up and informs them that their struggle is pointless, taking on both Diabolico and Olympius as her generals.
  • Trakeena, drained and weakened, makes her way to Earth, searching for a way to regain her insectoid form. To that end, she has a new elite guard of "ghouls" capture humans and use their energy to restore herself. The Galaxy Rangers pursue her, and join forces with Lightspeed to stop her. Trakeena then partnered with the demons for a while, but upon finding out her true intentions, Olympius poisons her energy, turning her into a demonic monster. Combining the Lights of Orion with the Omega Megazord, the Rangers destroy Trakeena once and for all.
  • About to regain her body, Bansheera absorbs Vypra as punishment for her failures. She then sends Loki off to face against the Rangers.
    • Before this happens though, Loki gives Diabolico an insect-shaped trinket as a memento of their millenia-long friendship. When Loki attemptes to stop the Rangers, Bansheera decides to have Diabolico shoot the Rangers, not caring if Loki gets caught in the crossfire. Diabolico attempts to resist, but Bansheera forces him to fire anyway. The blast kills Loki, who then laments how he spent all his time trying to faithfully serve Bansheera, only for it not to matter at all. Diabolico then swears vengeance against Bansheera for her callousness.
  • Disgraced by his failures, Olympius is at first exiled from the demons into the Shadow World, but then returns, having absorbed energies from the dead demons in the Shadow World.
  • Despite giving the Rangers help for ways to bring down Bansheera, Diabolico is brainwashed, and with Olympius (both now having been evolved into powerful "super demons"), lead a grand assault on the Rangers, destroying the Supertrain Megazord and the Lightspeed Solarzord. However, with the help of the new Lifeforce Megazord, the two are finally destroyed.
  • Using a Batling card he snuck onto the Lifeforce Megazord, Jinxer activates it, allowing the demons to finally invade the Aquabase. Overwhelmed and outgunned (especially with the demons taking control of both their remaining Megazords), the base is evacuated, though over half the team along with Mitchell and Dr. Fairweather are trapped in the command deck.
    • Swimming for a remaining submarine, the team escapes, though the Lifeforce Megazord and Aquabase are destroyed in the process.
    • Meanwhile, Carter rescues Ryan, and together they destroy the Omega Megazord and Jinxer, but the Zord manages to finish a ritual that would bring Bansheera to Earth to resurrect all the demons.
    • Reuniting, the team storms Bansheera's temple. They trap Bansheera in the Tomb of Forever she was wanting to open, and escape, Diabolico's spirit rescuing Carter out of vengeance.
  • Following the reimprisonment of Queen Bansheera and the destruction of the Aquabase, Lightspeed Rescue is rendered inactive. However, unlike previous teams, the Lightspeed Rangers keep their morphers so they can keep helping people.
  • This is roughly the time frame for the backstory of key events in Power Rangers Dino Fury:
    • A Rafkonian couple, Tarrick and Santaurra, find themselves separated from their people and stranded on Earth. They are quickly imprisoned by the U.S. government at Area 62. When a failed experiment causes a crisis at the base, Santaurra is injured. In the chaos, Tarrick hands his baby daughter to a human janitor, Ed Jones, trusting the stranger to keep his child safe. Ed names the girl Amelia and raises her as his grandchild.
    • Tarrick uses the technology left behind at the now-abandoned base to keep Santaurra alive in suspended animation while he tries to find a cure for her. He also finds a morpher and sword from the pre-historic Dino Fury Rangers and uses them to become Void Knight.

     2001-02: Time Force vs. Ransik
  • Ransik arrives in 2001.
    • The Rangers arrive behind him, but in order to use their Chrono Morphers, they recruit Alex's ancestor Wesley (Wes) Collins to act as the Red Time Force Ranger.
    • He sets them up in a clock tower, with an odd job business so they can have gainful employment (especially in Wes' case, having not wanted to follow in his father's footsteps at Bio-Lab).
  • Wanting to help the Rangers and defend against Ransik, Wes's father builds the Raimei Destroyer tank and founds the Silver Guardians. The Raimei alerts the Rangers that their presence is altering the past, while the Guardians become an ally/rival power to the Rangers, with one of Wes's old schoolmates, Eric Myers, as a member.
    • Later on, Eric takes control of the Quantum Control Box, which was lost in the past, becoming the rival Quantum Ranger and leader of the Silver Guardians.
  • Frax decides it's time to take his revenge on Ransik for nearly killing him before, unleashing the mutant Venemark on the people. Unwilling to let such a monster finish the Rangers for him, Ransik inadvertently grants Wes the ability to defeat him thanks to his father reverse engineering Ransik's serum.
  • Going rogue, Frax begins building his own giant robot to destroy the Rangers. Meanwhile, Ransik storms Bio-Lab, stealing the re-engineered serum for himself. Running into Mr. Collins, Ransik (and a scientist barely conscious also in the room) hear how, despite walking out on him, Mr. Collins is still proud of his son for taking control of his own destiny. Ransik then critically injures him. Distracted by a monster, Ransik escapes, and someone new arrives in the past: Alex; Wes's descendant, inexplicably alive.
  • It's revealed that Alex was not killed, and was responsible for delpoying the Time Shadow to aid the Rangers. He's now arrived to "set history straight", and forces Wes out of his position as Red Ranger. While Wes briefly takes over Bio-Lab, the other Rangers chafe under Alex's questionable decisions, and force him to bring Wes back; they managed to defeat Frax's giant robot Dragontron, and Alex (after healing Mr. Collins) returns to the future.
  • Ransik reprograms Frax to be his slave, then has him create an even bigger robot, Doomtron, which lays waste to Silver Hills. Wes has the other Rangers return to the future for their safety, while he and Eric struggle to defend the city. Eric is critically injured and hands his Quantum Morpher over to Wes. Back in the future, Alex attempts to wipe the other Rangers' memories of 2001, but they instead head back to 2001 to assist Wes (with Jen returning Alex's engagement ring). Although they manage to destroy Doomtron and Frax, the Rangers are outclassed by Ransik, who beats them to a standstill. He attempts to kill Jen, but accidentally strike his daughter Nadira in the process, injuring her, Shaken by this, he decides to repent for his crimes and turns himself in.
  • Time Force returns to the future. Jen leaves Wes a Time Force badge as a memento of the love they'll never get to share. Wes meanwhile is promoted to co-head of the Silver Guardians, sharing leadership with Eric.
  • Sometime around this time, the parents of 6 children are developing new ranger powers, but a lab explosion affects their children, giving them special powers in the future as Jack Landers, Sky Tate, Bridge Carson, Elizabeth "Z" Delgado, and Sydney Drew of SPD.
  • Also around this time, Robert James "RJ" rejects his father's offer to become a new Shark master, instead deciding to find a new master for his own animal spirit. After studying for a time under Master Swoop of the bat spirit, he eventually obtains a wolf spirit.
2002-03: Wild Force vs. the Orgs
  • Cole Evans, having grown up in the jungle, comes to Turtle Cove, and is recruited by the Wild Force Rangers, thanks to his Red Lion Crystal. He joins Yellow Ranger and former Air Force pilot, Taylor Earhardt, Blue Ranger and former semi-pro bowler, Max Cooper, Black Ranger and florist, Danny Delgado, and White Ranger and college student, Alyssa Enrile.
  • The Wild Force Rangers start finding new Zord spirits such as the elephant, giraffe, black and polar bears, rhino, armadillo and gorilla.
  • Growing frustrated with progress, Master Org unleashes the cursed Merrick in his Zen-Aku form. Eventually, the curse is broken and Merrick fights alongside the Rangers as the Silver Lunar Wolf Ranger.
  • Also growing suspicious of Master Org's seemingly un-Org like qualities, Duke Orgs Toxica and Jindrax discover Master Org's human point of origin (having been Dr. Viktor Adler, an ecologoist who was jealous of the relationship between his colleagues, Cole's parents; he found seeds of the former Master Org and ingested them, becoming the new Master Org and slaying the Evans), but are brainwashed into staying his servants.
    • However, after a battle with the Rangers, they are freed from his control, and go in search of a new, purer Org to lead their war.
  • 3 Mut-Orgs (mutant/Org hybrids) arrive from the future. Realizing that their power alone doesn't work against them, the Wild Force and Time Force Rangers join forces and destroy the Mut-Orgs.
    • Also during this time, Ransik is healed from his mutated deformities thanks to feedback from destroying the Mut-Orgs' mutant sides.
  • Later, Dr. Adler reveals himself as Master Org, and after an epic battle with Cole, is defeated. Discovered by Jindrax and Toxica is a new Supreme Org: Mandilok.
  • A team of 10 Red Rangers destroys the last remnants of the Machine Empire along with Serpentera.
  • Master Org returns, having become a pure Org after Adler's "death"; he creates and and uses an "org heart". This grants him seemingly unlimited power, and he absorbs the bodies of his three generals, turning into a giant monstrous Org. He easily defeats Animus and the Predazord; the other Megazords manage to destroy his body, only for the Org Heart to reform him, and he soon destroys all the Wild Zords, leaving the Rangers powerless and him free to begin a full-scale invasion of Earth. The Rangers refuse to give up, and their faith in themselves results in the Wild Zords' return, much to Master org's outrage. The Wild Zords and the Rangers then fire an Ultra Roar beam attack at hi, destroying his body (and Adler) once more. The Rangers then use the Jungle Sword to destroy the Org Heart, ending the Org threat forever.
  • With the death of Master Org, Princess Shayla takes the morphers and jackets back and returns the Animarium to the sky until the Orgs' possible return. The Wild Force team goes their separate ways. Alyssa becomes a teacher, Danny and Max go on a tour of the world, Merrick travels the world doing good, Taylor re-joins the air force, and Cole travels the world to help animals.
     2003-04: Ninja Storm vs. Lothor
  • Lothor returns from his exile in command of a spaceship. He also has a hotline to all manner of alien criminals, planning on using them to finally take over the world. He returns with his 2 nieces by marriage, Marah and Kapri, his robotic general Zurgane, and his goofy lieutenant Choobo. Together, they launch an attack on the Wind Ninja Academy, capturing all but 3 of the students. Thankfully, the Sensei, his son Cam Watanabe, and the students Shane Clarke, Dustin Brooks, and Tori Hanson survive the assault. With Shane, Dustin, and Tori as the last remaining students, they are given the Wind Morphers and become the Wind Power Rangers to fight off Lothor's invasion.
  • Recruiting help from the rival Thunder Academy, Lothor comes close to victory, but the Rangers convince the Thunder Rangers (Blake Bradley and Hunter Bradley) of Lothor's ill intent.
  • Cam goes back in time to meet his mother, stop Lothor in the past, and gain the Green Samurai Amulet. He then joins on as the Green Samurai Ranger.
  • Eventually, Lothor's true plan emerges: his monsters when defeated would fill up the Abyss of Evil, which would burst open, giving him an entire army. He accomplishes this and he launches a full-scale assault, with the Rangers losing their Zords in the process. Once the Abyss opens, he takes the Rangers head-on, and despite the help of their fellow students, he steals their Ranger powers and beats them. Shane, Dustin and Tori then used their inner ninja powers to imprison Lothor inside the Abyss.
  • With Lothor's imprisonment, Marah and Kapri are enrolled as beginning ninjas, while Cam, Shane, Tori, and Dustin are made teachers at the Wind Academy. Blake goes to do motocross racing professionally, while Hunter goes to teach at the Thunder Academy.
     2004-05: Dino Thunder vs. Mesogog
  • In 2004, Tommy Oliver moves to the city of Reefside, taking up a job as a high school science teacher. On his first day, he's assigned detention duty for 3 students: soccer star Conner McKnight, techy-prankster Ethan James, and lone singer Kira Ford. While he tells them to go find something prehistoric, they stumble upon his secret lair, where he's stored the Dino Gems that he discovered years before. With the gems choosing each of them, the 3 teens are given Dino Morphers to hold their energy, and to protect Reefside from the attack of the newly returned Mesogog, a dinosaur-human hybrid who plots to return Earth to the time of the dinosaurs. They become the first Dino Rangers.
  • Not long after this, Tommy manages to bond with the Black Dino Gem. It turns out that he became friends with a cafe owner/technical genius named Hayley during college, and she built the morphers, including a backup one, turning Tommy into the Black Ranger. This also unleashes the Brachiozord that was in hibernation until the Black Dino Gem activated.
  • One of Tommy's old friends, Anton Mercer, returns to Reefside. It turns out he's not only alive, but the adopted father of one of Hayley's employees/the students: Trent Fernandez.
    • Speaking of, Trent slowly begins to see the weirdness happening around Reefside, all while silently pushing back against his father's plans for him. After all, he's more an artist than a business man.
  • The Rangers manage to recover the Dimetrozord and the Stegazord.
  • Trent eventually finds the White Dino Gem. He starts out as an evil Ranger, but once the evil hold is released from his gem he joins the team with the other Dino Rangers.
  • As it transpires, Mesgog and Anton Mercer are one and the same, while Zeltrax is Tommy's former friend Smitty, who had been involved in a lab accident then rebuilt by Mesogog as a cyborg.
  • In the end, Mesogog and all of his minions are destroyed, save for Elsa who was just under mind-control, though the Rangers sacrifice their Zords, gear and powers to defeat Mesogog's final form.
  • Happily celebrating senior prom, Trent plans on going to art school next year, while Elsa plans to return to her principal job, now in control of her mind. Kira sings for the school, and all the Rangers and their allies cheer for her.
     2005-06: A quiet period
  • When Broodwing tries to recruit the Dino Rangers (by bringing them to the future) for help in fighting SPD, the Dino Rangers learn of their great futures in music, sports, and computer programming. Their Dino Gems were also recharged, but they lost their memories of the events.
  • For one glorious year, Earth experiences no evil attacks whatsoever.

Dino Dimension

  • Around this time, an archeologist named James Navarro is lost in a cave-in, but then happens upon the Aqua Energem, saving his life, though he's unable to reunite with his son, Tyler, for 10 years because the evil Fury was relentlessly pursuing him all this time. Not wanting to risk his family's lives, James goes into hiding.
2006-07: Mystic Force vs. the Master
  • Finally strong enough to start escaping the underworld, The Master sends Koragg and Necrolai to scout the surface world. Sending hordes of Hidiacs to attack the forest dwellers, The Master has his general Morticon begin a new invasion of Earth.
  • Realizing the Earth is in danger again, Udonna poses as an old man, seeking 5 noble souls to be the next prophesied warriors to defeat The Master. She gathers 5 youths: Nick Russell (Red), a loner who is new to Briarwood, (and is, of course, her lost son though neither knows it at the time), introverted Madison Rocca (Blue), Dork Knight Chip Thorn (Yellow), charmer Xander Bly (Green), and the outgoing DJ Vida Rocca (Pink), who become the Mystic Force Power Rangers.
    • However, during her initial confrontation with her corrupted husband, she loses her Snow Staff, making her unable to morph into the White Mystic Ranger for the majority of the Mystic Rangers' battles, though she does help the Rangers learn magic as their mentor.
  • Also during this time, Necrolai sends her daughter, Leelee, to spy on the Rangers and annoy them, while also keeping her in their ranks as a long-term mole.
  • During the course of their battles, many strange and wondrous adventures are had by the Rangers, including temporarily gaining control of Koragg's horse, Catastros, finding the Fireheart Egg, or fighting Necrolai's plan to turn the city's residents into vampires.
  • However, Morticon's next big plan is to find the new Gatekeeper, allowing him to finally escape the Underorld himself.
    • At this time, everyone is made aware of Claire's heroic lineage. To draw out The Gatekeeper, Koragg kidnaps Udonna. Claire saves the Rangers from a powered up Necrolai, but is then defeated by Koragg, and made to open the gates of the Underworld again, allowing Morticon to escape.
    • However, with Nick's bravery and determination, Claire escapes the Underworld with Udonna, and with Nick's help, reseals the gate, with the Rangers destroying Morticon as well. However, The Gatekeeper's magic is drained in the process, and so she's forced to continue developing her own magic, rather than relying on her mother's power, in the continued fight against evil.
  • With Morticon's death, Necrolai manipulates the Rangers into opening the cave where Daggeron, Imperious, and Jenji are locked away. All 3 are freed, with Imperious taking control of the war, and Daggeron acting as another mentor to the Rangers.
  • Later, Imperious uses the Barbarian Beasts to capture Jenji, and makes a wish. "I wish the Mystic Force Power Rangers never existed."
    • As a consequence of the wish, Udonna never recruited the teens, and thus darkness won, conquering Briarwood, destroying the Xenotome, and driving Udonna and Clare to despair.
      • However, thanks to Phineas's intervention before the spell was cast, Koragg is able to remember what really happened, and raised the dragon, Fireheart, allowing them to go to the Tribunal of Magic to try and reverse the spell.
  • Fighting zombies, choosing the hard path forward, and reaching the tribunal, the tribunal considers the Rangers' arguments to reverse the wish, but are not convinced at first. However, seeing the Rangers' heroic spirit to fight despite living in a world of darkness, the tribunal eventually reverse the wish, giving them a new upgraded form as the Mystic Force Legend Warriors. Meanwhile, Jenji tricks Leelee into freeing him.
  • After an extended battle, Imperious is destroyed, but to gain new leadership in their war, Necrolai summons up the Ten Terrors- magical beings of immense power to lead the final war before The Master's return.
    • Due to an odd quirk in how they function, the terrors go to Earth one at a time, playing a "game" of sorts with the Rangers and with each other.
  • Udonna learns that Leanbow is, in fact, alive, and decides to set out in search of a way to help him, though without her magic. Claire chooses to come along too, saying that she's the magical one now.
  • Leelee becomes bored with being evil, and decides to move into work at the Rockporium. Unfortunately, due to her previous treatment of them, none of the Rangers trust her anymore.
  • When fighting a Water Terror, the Rangers receive word that Udonna has been captured.
    • Also informed, Leelee teams up with Phineas and Claire to rescue Udonna. Fighting, bluffing, and magicking their way through, the 3 rescue Udonna, give her back her Ranger powers, and together the Rangers defeat the Water Terror. Toby also finds out about their secret identities at this time when he sees the Rangers morph.
      • Leelee is also forgiven by the Rangers and formally joins their side.
  • Eventually, most of the Ten Terrors are destroyed and the Master uses Matoombo's body to create a new one for himself, then launches an assault on the magical realm and Earth. He defeats the Mystic Mother (the purified Rita Repulsa), and while he amnages to defeat the Rangers' allies and themselves through his feeding on good magic, the belief of Briarwood's citizenry re-empowers the Rangers, and they perform a final strike and overfeed the Master with good magic, destroying him for good.
  • With The Master's destruction, Briarwood and the forest make peace with each other, mingling and interacting with each other. While Daggeron helps oversee the rebuilding of the forest, Chip, Madison, Vida and Xander return to run the Rockporium. Toby also starts dating Necrolai (who turned into a good human named Nikki when she used her magic to bring Daggeron and Leanbow back to life), while Phineas gets his job back, and continues his relationship with Leelee. Nick, Udonna, and Leanbow head off to meet Nick's adoptive parents, leaving Claire in charge as the new guardian of Rootcore.
2007-08: Operation Overdrive and the Corona Aurora
  • Sometime before the series, multi-billionaire, Andrew Hartford builds an android he names Mack. However, Mack is not made aware of his true origins.
  • Hartford completes his search for the Corona Aurora on Earth. After spending twice the net worth of New Mexico, he reaches the crown's chamber and retrieves it. However, in doing so, he sends a magical wave to Moltor and Flurious's planets, freeing them, allowing them to begin coming to Earth to retake the Corona. In response, the Sentinel Knight instructs Hartford to form a team of Power Rangers to retrieve the other jewels of the crown and defend it from evil hands.
  • 6 months later, Hartford hires four young professionals to be part of Operation Overdrive. Stuntman Dax Lo (Blue), racecar driver Ronny Robinson (Yellow), thief Will Aston (Black), and young genius Rose Ortiz (Pink), with Hartford intending to be the Red Ranger.
    • However, in the course of their first adventure, the crown is lost, and Mack takes on the role of Red Ranger. With the Crown gone, Hartford decides to direct the Rangers to recover the 5 jewels instead.
  • Also around this time, the alien Miratrix joins the hunt for the jewels, seeking to free her "master" Camdor first.
  • During a pirate adventure, the Rangers recovered the first jewel.
  • Also in this time, Miratrix, Moltor, Flurious, and later Camdor and the Fearcats all make and break alliances with each other. Each one seeking a new way to get the upper hand on the others through deception, giving powers to each other, or temporary truces.
  • Utterly crushed with Mack leading the destruction of his home, Moltor goes to Flurious with the Corona Aurora and his prisoner. However, in an act of cold blood, Flurious freezes and kills his brother, becoming the last leader standing in competing with the Rangers for the jewels.
    • To that end, he launches an all out assault on Hartford Mansion. The Rangers fight valiantly, but when Mack is captured in the fight, they're forced to surrender ALL the jewels for his sake. However, despite Flurious' power with the assembled Corona Aurora, Mack and the Sentinel Knight manage to destroy him..
  • With Flurious's death, and the full recovery of the Corona, Operation Overdrive disbands. Will heads out to work with security firms, Ronny returns to the race circuit, Rose heads off to go teach some more, and Dax plans to go into directing. Tyzonn finds his fiancee thanks to Norg, and Andrew and Mack plan to go off on more adventures together.
  • Around this time, the mysterious Ninja Nexus Prism lands on Earth at the home of Ninja Master Dane Romero and his two sons, Aiden and Brody. The prism is pursued by intergalactic warlord and wrestling show champion Galvanax. Dane's older son, Aiden, flees, and the prism makes Dane into the Red Ninja Steel Ranger to protect young Brody. However, Dane is injured in the battle and the prism seals him inside of itself to let him heal, rendering it unusable to Galvanax. The monster takes the prism back to his ship and kidnaps little Brody. The boy grows up as a prisoner on the set of Galaxy Warriors, raised by the quirky but kind shape-shifter Mick Kanic.

2008-09: Jungle Fury vs. Dai Shi
  • Training a new generation of Guardians of Dai Shi, Master Mao holds a tournament among worthy candidates and picks 3 of the best. Lily Chilman, Theo Martin, and Jarrod. However, just before the secret of Dai Shi is revealed, Jarrod gets into a fight with a new student: Casey Rhodes. Unleashing a tiger roar on Jarrod, Mao sees what's happening, and expels Jarrod for his lack of nobility and compassion.
  • Arriving at the forbidden chamber, Mao informs Lily, Casey, and Theo of Dai Shi's history, but then Jarrod arrives, and in the scuffle, Dai Shi escapes his captivity. He mortally wounds Mao, and then flies off, possessing Jarrod, and returning to his home temple. Before his death, Mao instructs the 3 chosen warriors to travel to Ocean Bluff to meet their next master.
  • Arriving, they meet their eccentric mentor R.J., who runs a pizza joint. While uncertain of his capabilities at first, thanks to his help fighting off Dai Shi's minions, the Rin Shi, they officially become his students, and he, in turn, gives them Solar Morphers to become the Power Rangers Jungle Fury.
  • Dai Shi, with his loyal minion, Camille, begin launching varied attacks on Ocean Bluff with varying degrees of success. However, realizing his weakness after thousands of years of imprisonment, Dai Shi plans to re-train himself back to full power in Jarrod's body.
    • The treacherous "fingers of poison" Naja tries to destroy Dai Shi, but thanks to Camille's loyalty, Naja's 3 life talons are taken, and his rebellion squashed. Dai Shi plans to use his life talons to bring back the Overlords to bring his power back.
    • He first revives the overlord Carnisaur, but due to his unrelenting training style, Camille responds by reviving the overlord Jellica.
    • When they can't train him any further, the revive the final overlord Grizzaka. Angry at Dai Shi having a human form, Grizzaka overthrows Dai Shi, taking command of the beast war himself.
  • Meanwhile, the Rangers have been training under additional masters as well. Master Phant taught Lilly how to use the Jungle Mace, Master Swoop taught Theo how to use the Jungle Fan, and Casey studied Shark Sabers under RJ's father, Master Finn. Thanks to Casey's mediating, RJ and his father finally reconcile.
    • They later train in the Spirit World thanks to Master Mao's intervention, learning new animal spirits under Masters Gwen, Rilla, and Lope.
    • RJ, after having his wolf spirit disrupted by Dai Shi, takes on the form of a werewolf for a while, but with the help of their friend, and fellow employee Fran, he cures his imbalance and becomes the Violet Wolf Ranger.
    • Later one day, RJ's old friend and Jarrod's old roommate, Dominick Hargan comes to town after wandering the Earth searching for a purpose. After seeing the Rangers in action, he decides he wants to become a Ranger as well, but due to his joking attitude, the Rangers don't trust him at first. Eventually, with Fran's help, Dominic regains their trust, and RJ builds him a morpher to become the White Rhino Ranger.
  • Grizzaka and the Rangers begin fighting over the Rhino powers. Grizzaka wanting the powers for himself, while Dominic wants to complete his Ranger gear. With Dai Shi and Camille also manipulating events, they all clash at the Rhino Nexus.
    • The Guardians of the Nexus help the Rangers slow down the overlords and Dai Shi, but only temporary. At the end of the battle, Dominick manages to gain control of the Rhino Zord, and together the Rangers destroy Carnisaur. Dai Shi meanwhile has gained access to a power that allows him to put Grizzaka back in his place.
  • With the war going badly, Grizzaka plans to resurrect the Phantom Beasts. Though he's destroyed in combat with the Rangers, Jellica finishes the ritual, freeing the generals Snapper, Scorch, and Wiger. She plans to use them to destroy Dai Shi for turning on the overlords, but the generals decide that their war against Dai Shi in the last Beast War was why they lost, and so destroy Jellica instead, pledging loyalty to Dai Shi.
  • In order to gain trust from Dai Shi, the phantom beast generals capture the 3 masters (Phant, Swoop and Finn), turning them into the evil Spirit Rangers, projecting Ranger versions of their animal spirits to fight for Dai Shi.
    • Also around this time, Dai Shi and Camille are both granted phantom beast powers, giving them an upgraded form.
    • The Rangers use a modified spirit blast on Master Finn's projection, trapping him in a crystal eye. Realizing this, Camille's prisoner Flit (a human turned into a fly and stuck in Camille's stomach) saves the eye and brings it to RJ.
      • After freeing his father, the two storm Dai Shi's palace, rescuing the other masters.
    • When General Wwiger fails his mission to kill Casey and steal his Tiger spirit, Dai Shi takes his power and banishes him. When Casey saves him, they manage to work together to overcome another of Dai Shi's plots, though Wiger fades from existence afterward.
      • However, in concern that Jarrod is corrupting Dai Shi's purpose, the other Phantom Beast generals plan to kill Camille, since she brings out Jarrod's side.
  • At the final Master's test, Theo and Lily become full masters, but Casey fails to take the initiative, and doesn't pass. Also around this time, the Phantom Beasts try to kill Camille, but regaining control for a second, Jarrod saves Camille. Casey notices this, and becomes convinced that Jarrod can be saved.
  • Attacking Dai Shi's palace alone, Casey and Dai Shi duel. Casey breaks down Dai Shi's Phantom Beast King mode, but then declares that if Jarrod isn't in there, he'll allow himself to die.
    • Unwilling to hurt Casey in that way, Jarrod breaks Dai Shi's hold on him, and Camille, in turn, takes Jarrod's side against Dai Shi. In response, Dai Shi drains their Phantom Beast powers.
    • Destroying Snapper with Jarrod, Camille, and the other ranger's help, Casey earns his master stripes.
  • In penance for the evil he did as Dai Shi, Jarrod exiles himself to the forbidden room with Camille.
    • However, in Dai Shi's last assault with General Scorch, he gathers enough fear to resurrect all his monsters and generals. However, working together with all the spirit masters and living masters, the Jungle Fury Rangers destroy all the monsters again. However, it doesn't stop Dai Shi from regaining his full dragon form.
    • Flit informs Jarrod and Camille of Dai Shi's returned power, and the two of them return to help. Jarrod, using Grizzaka's Zocato power, weakens Dai Shi, allowing Casey, Theo, and Lily to use their spirit energy combined to destroy Dai Shi for good. Jarrod is hurt in the experience, but survives.
  • With Dai Shi's defeat, the Pai Zhua order undergoes some changes. Casey becomes a full-time teacher at the main academy, with Jarrod and Camille working their way back up from beginners level to earn a new start. Lily and Theo begin dating, while Flit is turned back into a human by Camille to work at RJ's pizza parlor. Dominic decides to resume his wandering, but he decides to take Fran with him. Finally, in honor of their victory over Dai Shi, Lily, Theo, and Casey's animal spirits are put on the mural celebrating Dai Shi's imprisonment.

     Alternate universe: RPM vs. Venjix
  • 15 years before the war began, a genius girl whose first name began with the letter K is kidnapped by a government think tank called Alphabet Soup. They raise the girl, eventually ruining her self-identity as anything but Dr. K. When she realizes the government has lied to her about her becoming sick when she goes outside, she programs a virus called Venjix to break herself out. Unfortunately, she's caught and dragged away before she can install a firewall to keep the virus contained. This leads Venjix to declare war on all of Earth, leading to the near annihilation of humankind.
    • She also had 2 friends, Gem and Gemma who were assigned to help with her developing Ranger Powers. Unfortunately, when Alphabet Soup was attacked during Venjix's war, they were lost deep in Alphabet Soup looking for the Gold and Silver Ranger prototype powers. Dr. K escaped to the surface after broadcasting an all range signal to humanity to run for the city of Corinth to protect what's left of the human race.
  • Meanwhile, 5 extraordinary humans destined to become the Power Rangers RPM' grow up and come to Corinth.
    • Ziggy wanted to join the Scorpion Cartel criminal syndicate, and due to Venjix's war, is taken on as a member. However, when the 5 remaining crime syndicates planned to broker a truce using a truck full of medical supplies for the black market, Ziggy instead brought it to an orphanage to help them. Fleeing the cartel's wrath, he made his way back out to the wastelands outside Corinth.
    • Summer grew up the only daughter of 2 rich parents, skilled in dirt bike racing and martial arts, but mean and spoiled. When Venjix attacked, she was abandoned, except for her butler Andrews. Giving his life for her to reach Corinth, Summer vows to live a new life in service to others, demanding some space from her parents to live her own life.
    • Flynn wanted to grow up a hero, but people kept pushing back on him because they wanted to do safe and easy things rather than "just" things. He moved from police work to firefighting, to international aid, but each time, he was dismissed due to him breaking faux pas of the job. Flynn eventually gave up and became a mechanic, thinking his work was for naught. However, when Venjix attacked, Flynn stepped up again and became a civilian helper, helping out however he could.
    • Scott was a fighter pilot under his brother, Marcus, and his father, Colonel Truman. He wanted to fly and help protect people from Venjix, but his father thought he was too green and ordered him to hold back. In the subsequent firefight, Scott's entire squad, including his brother, were killed, with only Scott being rescued by Summer and escaping to Corinth City.
    • Finally, a man and his sister grow up together. His sister is blind, and they have a pocket watch that plays their favorite tunes. However, they're captured by Venjix, and separated by one of Venjix's generals, Kilobyte. The sister is slowly re-purposed into a hybrid named Tenaya 7. The man is given implants and sent out into the wastelands as a sleeper agent.
  • In between this time, Dr. K recruits Scott, Flynn, and Summer into her Ranger program as the operators of the Red, Blue, and Yellow suits.
    • Also during this time, Kilobyte is thought destroyed fighting humanity, but survives, and begins a long walk back to Venjix in order to continue his service to him.
  • The man makes it to the outskirts of Corinth, where he runs into Ziggy, and they return to Corinth. Getting close to the barricade, the man says his name is Dillon. They make it to Corinth but are arrested on suspicion of being outsiders and possibly having connections to Venjix.
    • However, noting that his enhancements help his body hold things together, Dr. K recruits Dillon to help with the Rangers. After some difficulties, he agrees with one condition: Ziggy gets out of prison too.
  • When they were trying to find candidates for the Green Ranger, Venjix orders Tenaya 7 to attack for the first time. However, to keep the morpher out her hands, Ziggy bonds with it, becoming the Green Ranger.
    • Also, after a confrontation regarding her secrecy, Dr. K reveals herself to the Rangers beyond her computer screen, now working directly with the Rangers.
  • Following this, a series of personal adventures occur, with Ziggy revealing his past to Dr. K, Scott recovering special tech and finding Marcus's recommendation to make him a wingman, Summer getting out her wedding, and Flynn solving an issue with his morpher.
    • Then, Dillon is hit with a virus that speeds up the Venjix virus in his implants, trying to take him over. However, in order to slow the spread, Dr. K has to input the base code for Venjix, revealing her role in his creation.
  • Then using hypnosis, they think they've found something that would help with Dillon's memories, but it turns out to be implanted by Venjix, who builds a body for himself to attack the Rangers. Even when they destroy that body, he returns to his pillar and builds another one. However, to escape this trap, Gem and Gemma reappear, having survived in the wasteland fighting Venjix themselves.
    • Upon their return, Dr. K begins being more open with her team, though Ziggy still gets a short stick.
  • With information from Gem and Gemma, the Rangers and military explore and attack a factory with human prisoners. They also convert the doomsday device inside into a new Zord. Dillon also finds a key similar to his own on a pocket watch he had for so long.
  • After a series of further failed attacks, Venjix's general Kilobyte returns, forming a rivalry with Tenaya.
  • Then exploring the remains of Alphabet Soup, Venjix discovers the lost Paleozord, which reactivates but goes crazy without control by the Rangers or Venjix.
    • Furthermore, Colonel Truman retrieves Dr. K's original laptop with the Venjix virus, and thinking her the real menace, tries to arrest her.
    • While fighting the Paleozord and a monster, Colonel Truman, and Dr. K talk, coming to an understanding, allowing them to take control of the Paleozord, and getting Dr. K a pardon.
  • Angered by how General Shifter decided to help Kilobyte get favor from Venjix, Tenaya 7 sabotages one of his new bodies for Venjix, getting him banished from the palace. However, Shifter then decides to finish upgrading the body, and plans on taking over the world himself.
  • Finding out how both keys to the pocket watch end up playing a song similar to what Tenaya whistles, Dillon confronts her outside the city, revealing via a battle that she's partly organic, and according to the music, Dillon's sister. Tenaya denies this at first, but as her memories begin reemerging, she ends up joining the Rangers, wanting to help against Shifter.
    • She and Dillon return to Venjix's palace together, finding the code to Shifter's robot, and allowing the Rangers to create a fully combined Megazord. However, Tenaya gets captured again and reprogrammed into Tenaya 15 as an emotionless attack bot.
  • The Rangers defeat and destroy Shifter, but Venjix recovers the body, and decides to use it as the base for his final body.
  • Rebuilding a Grinder with the intention of moving back to Venjix's palace after it, the Rangers begin making plans to cure Dillon of his Venjix infection and defeat Venjix once and for all.
    • During an attack with Tenaya, Kilobyte gets jealous of her favor with Venjix, and thus activates one of the sleeper agents they planted in order to kill Colonel Truman. Venjix is furious after finding this out, but decides to accelerate his own plans.
    • The Rangers, finding out about thousands of sleepers through the city, begin preparations for an assault on Venjix's main fortress, but then Venjix activates the sleepers, taking over Corinth at last.
  • Venjix then storms the garage, capturing Dr. K and Ziggy. Then engaging the other Rangers (aside from Dillon, who is struggling with his own implants), he "erases" 2 megazords and even Gem and Gemma.
    • With great effort, Dillon returns to the garage, using Dr. K's experimental serum on himself, ending Venjix's control of him. Freeing himself, Ziggy then helps Dillon cure Tenaya as well, and when the other Rangers arrive, they destroy Kilobyte.
  • Regrouping, the Rangers make a plan to have Tenaya use the mainframe to get Venjix's information about the morphing grid out of his head, with Ziggy and Dillon staying with her (Dillon was injured in battle, and Ziggy in order to protect Dr. K), and the other 3 Rangers running off to save Colonel Truman.
    • With Tenaya faking being evil, they input their control virus, using it to delete Venjix's access to the Rangers, and using his arrogance to "delete" every grinder under his control.
    • However, Venjix is too powerful for Scott, Flynn, and Summer, overpowering them, and blasting the control tower in order to get Tenaya out of the system.
    • Awakening, Dillon goes to help Tenaya, while Dr. K reintegrates Gem and Gemma's bodies, allowing them to drop the control tower on top of Venjix, while Dillon and Tenaya parachute out.
  • With Venjix's destruction, his artificial control of the outside world is reversed, allowing expansion back into the outside world again.
    • With Venjix's seeming defeat, the Rangers disband, handing their morphers back to Dr. K. For life after the war, they each plan to help the world in different ways.
      • Tenaya, Dillon, and Summer decide to go exploring the world, seeing if there's anyone else out there. They discover that life is rebuilding.
      • Scott is given command of Eagle Squad, with Gem and Gemma as his new recruits.
      • Flynn decides to help build a new computer network for the city.
      • Ziggy and Dr. K decide to open up a school for children together, with Dr. K finally calling Ziggy by his real name, hinting at a future relationship between the two.
  • However, at the very end, there's an indication that Venjix survived in the Red Ranger's morpher. However, locked away by Dr. K, he remains trapped for the moment.

2011-12: The End of the Nighlok Wars
  • For years on end, Jayden had been the sole active Samurai ranger, but with the Nighloks beginning to weaken the barrier between Earth and the Nighlok world, Jayden calls on the help of other Samurai rangers to help in his fight, including Kevin Douglas (a swimmer), Mike Fernandez (a gamer), and Mia Watanabe (a teacher).
    • One Samurai descendant becomes deadly ill, forcing her younger sister, Emily Stewart, to take up her mantle.
  • Meanwhile, Master Xandred returns to his ship, ready to wage war on the surface once again.
  • During the course of this 2nd war, the warrior Deker comes into town from his wanderings, and upon seeing the Red Ranger, decides that he will be the worthy opponent necessary to end his torment wandering bloodlust.
    • Clashing with Jayden several times, Jayden seemingly destroys Deker, but due to him breaking his sword, Decker lives as a mercenary for Xandred's army for a while, as he can only die if the sword stays in tact.
  • Antonio returns to the Shiba house, having lived as a fisherman for years, while also creating his own Ranger powers: Gold Samurai with Barracuda blade and Octozord. However, due to being an ordinary man, rather than a samurai warrior, he encounters some prejudice before being accepted.
  • Also around this time, the Samurai Rangers receive the Black Box, a power booster that can be passed from ranger to ranger to give them even more power.
  • A robotic general, Professor Cog, leads some of the remaining Grinders to the main universe, wanting some of the Sanzu river water for his own experiments against the RPM Rangers.
    • To that end, he also plots to turn Scott (who followed him there) against the Samurai Rangers, and transports Mia, Kevin, Mike and Emily to the RPM universe.
    • However, the Red Rangers rally together and defeat Cog. The other Samurai Rangers, in turn, return to their universe, sending greetings from the rest of RPM.
  • Meanwhile, the Nighlok general, Serrator begins plotting to gain power for himself while destroying the surface world, gaining allies with Deker and Dayu, due to them having no love for Xandred.
    • However, Xandred's aide, Octeroo, doesn't trust him and limits his movement and ability to lead plans.
    • His plans reach a hiccup when Master Xandred finds out about his treachery and comes to Earth personally to end him and the Rangers. While he fails to destroy anyone, he wounds Jayden and convinces Dayu to pledge herself to him again.
      • Nearly dried out, Octeroo brings Xandred back to the Sanzu to heal, but then Serrator takes over as the leader, Octeroo too weak willed to take control himself.
  • Serrator plants several spikes, planning on using Deker to split the earth, allowing him to open the Sanzu on Earth and give him ultimate power rather than Xandred. He even repairs Uramasa to help buy his cooperation. However, Deker, despite wanting freedom from his curse, was still a human first, and so defies Xandred at the last moment. His plans foiled, the Rangers destroy Serrator.
  • When a fire monster attacks the rangers, Lauren chooses this time to return to the Shiba house. While she does help defeat the monster, with her return, Jayden feels guilty for having lied to his friends for so long, and so leaves the house to think about who he really is.
    • Despite respecting Lauren, her lack of socialization makes her more of a "solo" leader, and the rest of the Rangers choose to help Jayden whenever they can.
  • Taking advantage of his new solace, Deker challenges Jayden, yet again. This time, Jayden nearly loses but is saved by Kevin, killing Deker, and ending his curse.
    • In grief, Dayu plays a song of grief, reviving Xandred. But so great is her grief, Xandred then absorbs her, becoming partially human, and thus immune to drying out.
      • Worse, when Lauren performs the ultimate sealing symbol on Xandred, his human part prevents him from being sealed.
  • Having gathered enough tears from humans, the Sanzu River re-floods the world, driving the Rangers on the defensive. However, working together, they fight through the Nighlok ranks and kill Xandred, reversing the Sanzu's seal. Only Octoroo is left, sinking in the Nighlok's ship back into the depths.
  • With the defeat of the Nighloks, the Samurai Rangers split up, returning to ordinary lives.
    • Kevin returns to his swimming team.
    • Mia goes to culinary school to work on her cooking (which was notoriously bad during the year)
    • Lauren, with her life being dedicated to one purpose, decides to travel the world for a bit, with plans to return to her brother afterward.
    • Mike and Emily return to Emily's home, the two of them having grown close together.
    • Antonio joins a fishing tour.
    • And Jayden and Mentor embark on a new mission: learning how to have more fun.
     2013-14: The Year of Invasions
  • After years of conquering galaxies, The Armada sends Prince Vrak to work with another rival Armada, The Warstar. Together, both groups begin a journey to take over the Earth.
    • In response though, the spirit Gosei awakens, recruiting 5 teenagers (martial artist, Troy Burrows [Red]; science nerd, Noah Carver [Blue]; soccer player, Jake Holling [Black/Green]; tough-girl, Gia Moran [Yellow]; and nature-lover, Emma Goodall) to defend earth from these threats.
  • Also revived around this time is Robo Knight, a robot dedicated to protecting the Earth.
  • Eventually, the Rangers crush the Warstar, seemingly ending the threat for the year, but then Vrak revives, and sends out a call to the main Armada. Hundreds of ships begin orbiting the Earth, and due to their sudden appearance, the Earth is unable to mount an offensive.
  • In response to this danger, the Megaforce Rangers begin seeking out aid from the rangers of the past, while also receiving help from the alien, Orion (as the Silver Ranger) who had his people wiped out by the Armada.
  • In the final battle, the Red and Silver Rangers attack the Command Chip, turning its weapons on the rest of the armada. The Emperor survives the ship crashing, but even after his defeat, he still had deployed his x-borgs army on the ground to finish his conquests. However, in response to the end game of the invasion, all the Ranger teams of the past come to the aid of the Megaforce rangers from the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers all the way to Power Rangers Samurai. Together, the Rangers of 16 different teams fought for the freedom of Earth, and finally eliminated the last of the Armada's forces.

     2015-16: Dino Charge Energizes

Dino Dimension (Original Timeline)

  • Sometime after the invasion, caveman, Koda is found by Kendall Morgan, a museum curator, who, in turn, has found Keeper, who's alive after all this time. Together with skateboarder, Chase Randall (who was given the Black Energem as a gift for saving a fortuneteller's cat), they begin a search for the other 8 energems.
  • Shelby Watkins, a dinosaur enthusiast, sneaks aboard a dig, but accidentally picks up the Pink Energem without knowing its purpose. Running into Tyler Navarro (who previously found the Red Energem in a cave) in the woods while running from a monster, the Energems activate their blasters, turning them into Dino Charge Rangers.
  • Meanwhile, Riley Griffin, a disciplined young man with a talent for sword fighting, finds the Green Energem, but only narrowly escapes Fury, who's still looking for the Energems after getting trapped on Earth after the bomb exploded. Riley leaves to work at Kendall's Dinosaur Museum for the summer, leaving his ranch.
  • Running into Tyler and Shelby, Riley and the others save a man pinned under a car, and then discover the secret Dino Charge lair, becoming official Power Rangers.
  • Sledge returns to Earth, intent on recapturing the Energems and destroying Keeper.
    • As such, he releases certain prisoners to try and catch the Rangers and take their energems.
    • To keep his girlfriend, Poissandra from becoming too distracting during his search, Sledge has his scientist build a creature called Curio from dead prisoners. Made to be her best friend, Curio becomes Poissandra's constant companion, even when she starts taking up work with Sledge too.
  • During one such mission with a monster who makes others fly into a rage, they recover the Ankylozord, meaning the Aqua Energem is active already but missing.
  • During a series of conflicts over an energem scanner, Sledge's 2nd in command, Fury manages to gain control of the Pterazord through his use of Sir Ivan's energies. But the strain from doing so eventually leads Ivan to escape from Fury, at last, becoming the Gold Ranger of the team in the process.
  • Prince Philip of Zandar finds the Graphite Energem. After proving his bravery and nobility, he becomes the Graphite Ranger, though as a prince, he has to stay in Zandar, rather than join the Rangers on their hunts.
  • Detecting news about Fury searching New Zealand for an energem, the Rangers travel there too, eventually finding out that the Purple Energem has already chosen a hero: an older man named Albert Smith who saved a girl in a snow storm while finding the Energem.
    • Unfortunately, due to his age and less than courageous demeanor, he decides to stay a local hero rather than fight Sledge. So, Keeper unbonds him from the Energem which the Rangers decide to look for a new host.
    • Also around this time, the Rangers rescue the Plesiozord, which had been activated, thanks to Albert.
  • When Sledge gets wind of the Rangers looking for a hero to bond with the Purple Energem, Sledge decides to release his 2nd most dangerous prisoner: Heckyl, a galactic criminal with a 2nd side in the more monstrous Snide. As Heckyl looks human, he could pass for a hero to fool the Rangers into giving up the Energem.
    • However, Fury manages to get to it first, and using the Energem's power, Sledge puts Heckyl back in his cell.
  • Realizing the situation could get bad quickly, the Rangers resolve to storm Sledge's ship and recover the Energem. To that end, Kendall builds an Energem hunting robot and Phillip returns to help in their attack.
    • However, using the power of the Purple Energem, Sledge captures Keeper and steals the Red Energem from Tyler. Though Ivan manages to rescue the other Rangers, Sledge unleashes his most dangerous criminal: The Greenzilla. The rangers are battered badly by this monster, but events onboard Sledge's ship changes things.
      • Splitting the team up, Tyler and Shelby use the Plesiozord to reach the ship, while Kendall gives herself away to ensure they land undetected. Captured, she and Keeper manage to meet up with Tyler and Shelby, and thanks to her heroically stepping up to defend Keeper, despite her weaker skills, Kendall is chosen as the new Purple Ranger.
      • Tyler manages to regain his energem, fighting Sledge on the bridge, and causing his ship to crash. Reuniting with the 8 ranger team, they defeat Greenzilla, and with them hoping all of Sledge's monsters died in the crash, the team splits up for now.
  • However, due to strong armor and shielding, despite Sledge mysteriously vanishing in the crash, all the remaining guards, criminals and lieutenants on the ship manage to survive. Escaping his cell, Heckyl takes over as the new leader of the search for the Energems.
  • Shortly afterward, a new criminal, Singe arrives, pledging himself to Heckyl's cause, but Fury notices that he seems to have an agenda of his own.
  • When a test for the red ranger's battleizer goes awry, the Aqua Ranger reveals himself, showing that it's Tyler's dad, James. James joins the team, though he then departs to use his archeology skills to search for the final energem.
  • Fighting onward, Fury gets wind of Singe contacting a mysterious employer on his own.
  • Then, a probe lands on earth, revealed to be a transmission from The Silver Ranger. The Silver Energem wasn't on Earth at all. It was in space. The Silver Ranger instructs the other Rangers to seek out his Titanozord, but Singe destroys the message before it's location is revealed.
    • However, Singe then reveals that he already knows where the Zord is to Snide, who sends most of his lieutenants and a monster to destroy it.
      • The Zord coincidentally is in a lake the other Rangers are fishing at.
    • The Zord is saved, but Heckyl is curious how Singe knew about it. Refusing to talk, Singe abandons the crew, with Heckyl giving Fury kill orders the next time they see Singe.
  • The Silver Ranger keeps sending transmissions, sending a warning about a "dark energem" he's fighting.
    • Keeper, in turn, reveals that while the 10 Energems they have were made from good, the Dark Energem was forged from pure evil, so they need to defeat it, however, is needed.
  • Arcanon arrives on Earth with Doomwing and Singe. They capture Heckyl, throwing him back in solitary, getting Sledge's old crew in line.
    • Finding out about Xenowing during a double cross, the Rangers use a splitter device to separate the two.
      • Then the Rangers defeat Doomwing, retrieving the Silver Energem. However, upon seeing the Dark Energem, Heckyl remembers who he was, swearing vengeance.
  • As his ranks are thinning, Arcanon eventually uses the Rangers splitters to separate Heckyl and Snide.
    • However, Heckyl then escapes.
    • Snide also tells Poissandra a secret, leading her to run off.
  • After a fierce battle with the Rangers where Arcanon temporarily loses possession of the Dark Energem, Sledge reveals himself to Arcanon. Sledge then takes the Dark Energem for himself and destroys both Arcanon and Singe with Snide's help.
    • It turns out that when he survived the crash, he found 6 eggs for a new plan. However to make the plan work, he would need to fly under the radar with Heckyl/Snide's help, so he planted the eggs all over the Earth, while also having a little fun in Hawaii, China, and Japan. But upon his return, his first order is to get the ship flying again, which they do with the help of the Dark Energem.
      • James also discovers Sledge's return at this time, and while the Rangers try to sneak onboard the ship to destroy the Dark Energem, complications with a monster slow them down enough for Sledge to have time to take off.
      • Also during this time, Shelby, Philip, and James learn about Heckyl being split and he, in turn, warns them of a danger to Earth.
  • Sledge's plan is put into motion. While the Rangers find one of the eggs, Heckyl informs the Rangers that the egg is, in fact, a Greenzilla egg, and they're going to hatch soon. While the Rangers destroy the egg they have, the other 5 hatch, forcing the Rangers to divide their Megazord for battle.
    • Heckyl spends some time having fun on Earth, but on saving a child, begins to reconsider whether he has good in himself.
  • Using some unconventional tactics, such as dividing the Megazord, then reforming it, or trying new combinations, the Rangers eventually destroy all 5 Greenzillas.
    • Meanwhile, Wrench tracks the destroyed egg's signal to the museum, and Sledge sends Snide down to it, intending for him to be destroyed. However, Snide steals the Dark Energem, thinking he'll force Sledge to stay that way. Figuring out where the Rangers base is, Snide digs down using his sword, destroys the storage crystals and engages Kendall in combat.
    • Despite her valiant stand, she's eventually overwhelmed until Heckyl comes in. Driving him outside, the Rangers annihilate Snide, though the Dark Energem remains unscathed.
  • Sledge FINALLY marries Poissandra, though he intended to give her the Dark Energem as a wedding ring, upon figuring out that Snide stole it, Sledge sends Fury down to retrieve it, and allow his backup plan to succeed.
  • The Rangers destroy the Dark Energem, creating a black whole that sucks in Sledge and the entire Earth. The Rangers travel through the singularity, resulting in time travelling back to the moments where Keeper was bonding the Energems to the dinosaurs. The Rangers then proceed to alter history by helping Keeper and destroying the past version of Sledge and his ship, saving the Earth.

Dino Dimension (Altered Timeline)

  • As Sledge's ship was towing the asteroid that would result in the extinction event that wiped out the dinosaurs, the Earth is forever altered. Dinosaurs are no longer extinct. The Rangers use the Energems to return to their proper point in time, Heckyl and Xenowing returning to Sentai 6 in the past to prevent its destruction by Arcanon as well. The Rangers are unaffected by the changes in history. They discover that the museum is now a dinosaur zoo.

     2021-2023: Dino / Cosmic Fury's Evolution Revolution
  • Tarrick of Rafkon, now calling himself Void Knight, discovers a powerful energy surge at the mysterious Dinohenge: the long-dormant Sporix. Planning to use whatever it to heal Santaurra, he raids the underground home of Solon, the Earth's last remaining dinosaur. Solon awakens Zayto from his 65 million years in stasis and empowers two passers-by, Ollie Akana and Amelia Jones, as the Blue and Pink Rangers. They drive Void Knight away, but the Sporix are set free in Pine Ridge. The trio vow to fight together as Dino Fury Rangers.
  • The trio becomes a quintet when the Green and Black Dino Keys resurface and bond themselves to Izzy and Javi Garcia.
  • The Ninja Nexus Prism arrives in Pine Ridge, pursued by Mick Kanic. The prism sets in motion a chain reaction that eventually reawakens the long-lost Gold Dino Fury Ranger, Aiyon.
  • One of Void Knight's allies, the dark wizard Reaghoul, brings Lord Zedd Back from the Dead and mind controls the Emperor of Evil to be his servant. After researching Zedd, Ollie realizes that the Rangers won't be able to defeat him, so he breaks the compliance collar on Zedd so that he will direct his ire towards Reaghoul.
  • Zedd sets out re-establishing his empire of evil, recruiting Scrozzle, former henchman to Evox a.k.a. Venjix.
  • Zayto and Aiyon travel to the nightmare planet Nibyro and confront their 65 million-year-old feelings of Survivor Guilt.
  • Void Knight takes the Rangers prisoner, hoping to use their powers to save Santaurra. Ollie realizes the only way to save his friends is to destroy their powers. However, once Void Knight flees, the Morphin' Masters re-empower Team Dino Fury, prophesying that their adventures are not over yet.
  • Void Knight successfully wakes Santaurra from her coma and plans to leave the Earth, but Santaurra wants revenge for her imprisonment and the loss of her baby. She uses the Sporix to make herself into the monstrous Void Queen, and brainwashes Tarrick into Void King when he tries to defect to the Rangers.
  • The Rangers receive a transmission intended for the Rafkonian Diaspora, explaining that the planet has been abandoned and relocated to another place in the cosmos so it can heal. Unfortunately, Lord Zedd also obtains this information and the Rangers race to Rafkon before Lord Zedd can use it to create an army of Sporix minions. His machinations lead to the complete obliteration of the planet, and the Rangers are rescued by the intervention of the Green Morphin' Master.
  • Green's fellow Masters oppose her interacting so directly with the battles between good and evil and attempt to banish her, but the Rangers argue in her defense. Ultimately, she seals Zedd and herself inside of a cosmic crystal. Realizing Green was right, the other Masters set her free and hide the imprisoned Zedd on a distant world. Green also gives Team Dino Fury one last gift: the Dino Master Saber, which will end any enemy at the cost of the wielder's life.
  • Other Rafkonian survivors arrive on Earth, intending to conquer it. However, their invasion has to wait when Void Queen begins her endgame: combining all of the Sporix Beasts into the Nemesis, a giant flesh-and-blood Zord that she will use to kill all humans.
  • Seeing human compassion in the face of danger, Orria comes to respect humans. She and the Rafkonians settle on the planet not as invaders but as immigrants.
  • Amelia's Pop-Pop finally tells her the truth about her adoption: she was the child of an alien couple imprisoned at Area 62, entrusted to him when something went horribly wrong. Amelia learns that she is a Rafkonian, and upon mind-melding with Void King, realizes that he and Void Queen are her long-lost parents. The power of fatherly love breaks the brainwashing on Tarrick, and the Rangers realize the way to stop Void Queen is to reunite her with her daughter.
  • Amelia saves her mother, but they lose all of their Zords and Zayto is forced to sacrifice himself using the Dino Master Saber.
  • Six months later, the Morphin' Masters bring Zayto back to life and reunite him with his team for a new mission: Lord Zedd has escaped.
  • Team Dino Fury and the Morphin' Masters locate Zedd on Zordnia. By sheer coincidence, Mighty Morphin' Blue Ranger Billy and former Ninja Steel Red Ranger Mick are also on that planet for a research trip; Master Red re-empowers Mick to help them in battle.
  • Zedd and his new allies at Squid Ink Inc brainwash Ollie into being the leader of their forces. For his first evil act, Ollie uses a portal to send Zayto across space. Then, using a device called the "Master Captivator", Zedd seals away all of the Morphin' Masters.
  • Before he is trapped, Master Red gives Javi his staff and sends him a vision of the Altar of Zordnia, which can grant the team access to the Cosmic Fury Zords. Javi releases the Zords, but the sheer energy of the Morphin' Grid disintegrates his entire right arm. Solon and Billy develop a cybernetic replacement for him.
  • The Rangers recapture Ollie and attempt to break the brainwashing, but have no luck. Ollie leads Zedd to their base at Dinohenge, where he destroys all the Dino Fury Rangers' powers except for Ollie's. Zedd then attempts to destroy the base, forcing Solon to use an extreme emergency failsafe that teleports them all to the planet Erridus. They are safe, but the teleporter does not work in reverse, stranding Amelia, Izzy, Javi, Aiyon, Billy, Solon, and accidental stowaway Fern — Izzy's girlfriend — on the desert world.
  • Zedd conquers several planets, including Earth and Eltar, and begins training Ollie in the ways of evil. All active Ranger teams on the planet fight valiantly, but are overwhelmed and the situation only darkens when the invaders put Earth under a force field that renders all Zords unusable.
    • Acting on a suggestion from Scrozzle, Zedd decides he wants to amass ultimate power by turning himself into a Morphin' Master.
  • Solon and Fern work on turning the base into a Cosmic Cruiser, while Billy uses Master Red's staff and the remaining Dino Keys to develop a new power set for the Rangers. He develops four cosmic orb-based morphers, plus two more intended for Zayto and Ollie once they are saved. Amelia discovers she is now the Red Ranger, having proven herself as a leader by helping her friends adjust to the new status quo.
  • Mick locates Zayto on the planet Levvina, and the re-powered Rangers embark on a rescue mission. Aiyon finds Zayto inside of a mystical healing tree, but discovers that Zayto is not quite the same since his resurrection. Zayto skirts the issue and takes his new morpher to become the Cosmic Fury Zenith Ranger.
  • Squid Ink Inc. CEO Bajillia Naire discovers the lost Cosmic Fury Dragon Zord on the planet Akraal. The Rangers sneak into the mining operation disguised as a thrash metal band to distract Ollie and the other minions while Zayto retrieves the Zord. Before they escape, Ollie plants a tracking device on the Dragon Zord so he can follow them to Erridus.
  • As the team prepares to return to Earth, they are intercepted by Ollie, and Solon is stolen by scuttle worms as food for their young. Fern, refusing to sit by idly, takes the blaster-morpher intended for Ollie and rescues Solon. In so doing, the morpher bonds with Solon's dinosaur DNA, making Fern the Orange Cosmic Fury Ranger.
  • The team returns to Earth, but are soon captured by Zedd's forces. Aiyon, Solon, and Zayto escape and take refuge with the Resistance led by Tarrick. Zayto reveals that he isn't exactly "back to life"; the Morphin' Masters filled him with their magic, and now that they are gone, he will return to the afterlife as soon as he uses it all up.
  • Thanks to their allies in Coral Harbor, the resistance gets some giant teleporters. They plan to send one of the space ships projecting the anti-Zord forcefield into the local prison, taking out the forcefield and freeing the people of Pine Ridge, Rangers included, all at once.
  • The plan succeeds, though the magic drains even more of Zayto's life away. With access to their Zords restored, Earth's Power Rangers retake their planet and direct their attention to the rest of the universe.
  • Aiyon encounters Mucus and Slyther, two reformed monsters, and recruits them to sneak into Lord Zedd's base in a bid to break Zedd's hold on Ollie by destroying his Dino Fury powers. The plan works, but Mucus, Slyther, and the restored but powerless Ollie are imprisoned by Zedd. Acting against Billy's advice to wait for more Ranger teams, Amelia leads a rescue mission to Eltar. Indeed, Ollie was the bait for a trap designed to kill the entire team. Zayto uses the last of his magic - and thus his life force - to save them all. Refusing to lose Zayto again, Aiyon's soul follows Zayto's soul into the Grid, knocking Aiyon's body into a coma.
    • Aiyon's soul travels to a limbo-like world connected to the Grid, where he meets a mysterious figure that helps him return to his body and promises to help Zayto's spirit. It is implied, but not directly stated, that this is the spirit of Zordon himself.
  • The remaining Rangers - including Ollie as Cosmic Fury Blue - confront Zedd, but find they are too late. He has become the most powerful force of evil to ever exist. Amelia and Ollie plan to seal him away in the Master Captivator, only for Bajillia Naire and Scrozzle to do it first. Bajillia reveals this was her plan all along: with Zedd as a being of pure evil energy inside the tube, she plans to shatter the glass and release a wave of pure evil that will rid the universe of goodness and heroism forever, allowing her to profit off of the endless evil vs. evil wars.
  • The Rangers manage to get the energy tube away from the villains and return to Zordnia. They plan to use the altar to access the Grid directly, allowing the tube to shatter harmlessly. However, they are followed by Bajillia, and while they defeat her, she cracks the glass. The wave is about to begin any second when Zayto, now a Morphin' Master, arrives. He uses his new powers to transport the team into the tube, where time moves more slowly, to talk to Lord Zedd directly.
  • Zedd is happy with his successful evil plan: "If evil is all that remains, the Emperor of Evil is the emperor of everything." However, Zayto points out that if Zordon did not live past his energy wave, Zedd will not either. Ollie reminds Zedd of the evil lessons he taught him about the value of self-preservation above all else. Conceding the point, Zedd allows Zayto to separate him from his stolen Morphin' Master powers and return to the physical world.
  • Zayto leaves Zedd on Nibyro, a planet that traps people in their worst nightmares. Zedd shall now spend eternity bickering with an illusion of his wife, Rita Repulsa.
  • After a tearful goodbye from his friends, Zayto takes his place among the liberated Morphin' Masters.
  • Ollie and Amelia resume their romantic relationship. Izzy and Fern plan to attend Oakdale College together. Javi, having fully adapted to his prosthetic arm, resumes his music career. Tarrick and Santaurra welcome their second child, named "Poppy" after honorary grandfather Ed "Pop-Pop" Jones. Aliens of all species, many of them refugees from Zedd's war, are welcomed to Earth and establish happy lives there; many settle in the bustling immigrant community of Newtech City. And Billy and Mick, after learning about Aiyon's encounter with the being in the void, embark on a new adventure, hopeful that Zordon's ghost is somewhere in the cosmos.

     2025: SPD's Emergencies
  • In the year 2025, the Earth has become a place of intergalactic interaction, where aliens come to live in peace and interact with humans on a regular basis. To combat any alien criminals who happen to come to Earth, the intergalactic agency Space Patrol Delta opens an earth branch, with 4 levels of squads. D-level entry cadets, C-Level trainees, B-level backup squad, and A-level active Power Rangers.
  • When Emperor Grumm moves to conquer Earth, Commander Anubis Doggie Kruger promotes the B-squad to active duty, granting them their morphers, and eventually recruiting 2 thieves with genetic powers like them.
  • When the A-Squad is declared MIA, B-squad takes on greater responsibilities on Earth, fighting off Grumm's many monsters and robots.
    • During one assault, Grumm has his general Benaag lead an attack, leading to Kruger to take up a morpher of his own as the Shadow Ranger.
    • Later, a Ranger from the future, Sam, the Omega Ranger, also comes to bolster the Ranger's rank.
    • Meanwhile among the forces of Evil, Grumm turns one of his servants, Mora into an older form of Morgana as punishment for her failures, and due to his obsession over destroying Kruger and the Rangers, falls behind in payments to his supplier Broodwing. Broodwing, in turn, begins plotting to undermine Grumm.
  • Continuing to grow in skill and technology, the Rangers spend time training under Sergeant Silverback and helping the Dino Rangers in both their present and their past.
  • Eventually, thanks to her successes in stealing materials to bring Omni (a creature Grumm had been working for) to power, Grumm turns Morgana back to Mora.
  • Later, A-Squad returns after investigating a crash. However, they reveal their allegiance to Grumm when they capture Kruger.
  • Grumm and Broodwing then launch their final assaults on Earth, trying to seize power for themselves and for Omni.
    • While initially successful, the B-squad, working with all their allies, defeat the A-Squad, Broodwing and his generals, Mora, Grumm's army, Omni, and finally Grumm himself.
  • With Grumm defeated, Jack resigns from SPD, going to help the homeless instead. Sky and Bridge are in turn promoted up a level to fill his absence.
  • Around 2026, Commander Birdie of SPD retires, and with Kruger being promoted to new supreme commander, Sky is given Earth Command, and Bridge is promoted to Red Ranger and squad leader.
     Time Force in 3000
  • In the future, babies are given genetic treatments to become perfect. However, in some of the discarded sludge created, a mutant was born: Ransik.
  • Attacked one night by another mutant named Venemark, Ransik is treated by a kind scientist name Dr. Ferricks. Due to his mutant DNA, he needs to take the serum for the rest of his life, but he steals it and his Cyclobots and burns down his lab.
  • Barely surviving his lab's destruction, Dr. Ferricks rebuilds himself as a robot: Frax, swearing revenge on Ransik for ruining him.
  • Also while traveling around, he stumbled upon an abandoned Org temple, where he discovered 3 orgs stuck in stone. Freeing them, they copied part of his mutant DNA, while also granting him the ability to pull swords from his body. The Mutorgs are later captured by Time Force.
  • Later on, Jennifer Scotts' partner Steelix, one of the few mutants who was given a position in Time Force, sells out secrets to Ransik and is captured by Jen, swearing vengeance for his betrayal.
  • Also during this time, Ransik begins to have his daughter Nadira travel with and help him.
  • One day, Ransik plans to build a time machine to escape to the past and destroy mankind away from Time Force. However, the Red Ranger, Alex, defeats Ransik in combat, and he's sentenced to cryogenic freezing for his crimes. Alex also proposes to Jennifer after this time as well.
    • However in route, Nadira, leading the rest of Ransik's gang frees him, runs to the mutant cryo-prison, kills the guards, and escapes to the past, killing Alex in the process.
    • Jen and her team (Katie Walker, Lucas Kendall, and Trip Regis) chase after Ransik to the past.
  • Meanwhile, during the time in the past, time is altered, causing Alex to survive his last attack. He is somehow made superior of Captain Logan and begins sending help to the past to ensure Ransik's demise.
    • Also during this time, several potential futures are altered. A future where Wes takes over his Father's company, a future where the Rangers died fighting Ransik, and a future where Wes died defeating Ransik.
  • After several disputes and travels, Time force returns to the year 3000, Ransik imprisoned for his crimes. Nadira meanwhile is given community service serving children as a way to help make up for her misdeeds.
  • The next year, the Mut-Orgs escape to the year 2002, causing Time Force to recruit Ransik and Nadira's help to recapture them, with all the old team returning to the past.

Original Dino Timeline

  • The alien warlord Arcanon hears of the Dark Energem and travels to Sentai 6 to retrieve it.
    • A lone alien named Heckyl tries to keep the Dark Energem from Arcanon, but when he touched it, it creates an evil split personality: Snide. Arcanon then uses the Energem's power to wipe Heckyl and Snide's memories about everything, turning Heckyl into one of the greatest criminals in the galaxy.
    • Arcanon then destroys Sentai 6.
  • Fearful of the power of the Energems against him, Lord Arcanon hires the alien bounty hunter, Sledge, and his crew including Fury, Wrench, and Poissandra to capture an outlaw army for him, and retrieve the Energems.
    • Over several years, Sledge and his crew capture a large diverse group of criminals, including Heckyl, though Sledge is unaware of his origin. He also amasses a cluster of asteroids. It's possible that the animal spirits of Dai Shi's army were active around this time as well, as the monster Monkiwi was apparently a bounty on Sledge's list at this time.
  • Finally setting their sights on the Energems, Sledge and his crew shoot down the Energem's guardian Keeper on Earth. However, Keeper entrusts the 10 energems to prehistoric reptiles, infusing their spirits with their power for safe keeping.
    • Tricking Sledge's general Fury, Keeper plants a bomb which flings Sledge's ship back into the recesses of space. However, in the chaos, Sledge loses control of the asteroids he was holding onto, causing the great Cretaceous extinction.
    • Fragments of these asteroids gain on dinosaur/pterodactyl spirits and unknown energies. They become the Dino Gems.
  • Following his master to earth, Zenowing finds out about the great extinction and so constructs Zords to respond to the Energems if found as a new safeguard to protect them.
    • Zenowing himself finds the Silver Energem, then goes after Arcanon for his evil schemes in trying to destroy his master.
      • During the course of the battle, Zenowing is bonded with the energem to become the Silver ranger, while also cutting off part of Arcanon's robe. However, the Dark Energem is too powerful, and Zenowing is captured.
      • In order to gain the power of the Silver Ranger, Arcanon creates a split personality of evil with Zenowing called Doomwing. As Zenowing is still in contact with the Silver Energem, Doomwing can use its power for evil by tricking it.
