Average day on The Blacksite.

Entry Point (Roblox) is notable for its high skill ceiling even by tactical FPS standards, but these side-missions will tend to push a Freelancer's skill to their maximum.

Daily Missions - General

  • Stealth-only missions tend to produce a massive amount of groans, because they're heavily associated with ridiculous combinations of whatever hard restrictions at worst and even the ones that don't have it tend to be frustrating at best, since a single alarm sound at any point will fail it.
  • Any mission involving taking on already hard missions to begin with. Since those were already either ridiculously hard or intentionally difficult for certain reasons, having restrictions on them can be downright frustrating, with the Stealth missions getting the full brunt of criticism.
  • Any mission involving Unskilled or Inexperienced tends to be this. Since it heavily limits your arsenal and potential freedom of whatever playstyle you had, this can easily raise the height of a certain mission's difficulty level, even on Operative.
  • No Suppressors. Considering that shooting guards is a last resort (unless it's a mission involving the Bloodless restriction), and that there's a method of luring guards via gunshots, this can be quite annoying to deal with, in spite of its difficulty header being colored green.
  • No Hybrid Classes. Crippling Overspecialization is in full effect here: You either go your original class, or don't. Hackers by far get the worst of these, as they're considered a Master of None without hybrid classes.
  • Any combination of Flashbang Frenzy and Flashbang Revenge. Getting flashed by flashbangs is one thing, but a dozen of them? Yikes! At least you can shoot them, though the massive amount of Flashbangs means that there will be at least be one friendly fire incident and vice versa. To make matters worse, there was at least one combination of Flashbang Frenzy and Explosive Flashbangs- this means that you basically have to shoot the flashbangs or DIE. Oh, and it gets worse: There was one combination of Flashbang Frenzy, Explosive Flashbangs and Explosive Revenge, resulting in an explosive mission failure if done wrong.
  • Fifteen Minutes. Having a time limit imposed is generally considered to be incredibly annoying, but especially in missions where a lot of patience is required, this can get extremely frustrating at worst.
  • Armera Arsenal. You're required to have at least one of the Awesome, but Impractical weapons in the game to even stand a chance in Loud, and to even get them, you have to pay a huge amount of money to get the Sawblade, or pay actual Robux to unlock the MM20 for usage and then pay for it, and money is hard to come by in Entry Point. Overall, an extremely frustrating example of Cash Gate.

Daily Missions - The Financier Stealth No DisguiseDue to gratuitous usage of No Disguise in a mission where not having a disguise is a death sentence, pretty much every mission that has it or indirectly has it will be listed here:

  • The Daily Mission of September 26, 2021 is this for one simple reason: No Knockouts and Hidden UI. No Knockouts means you cannot get a disguise, period (though you can still interrogate guards), and you are unable to even know if you're being tracked down or not, meaning that players who are deaf or have poor hearing might as well give up due to not having a UI. It is possible to clear this without a suit, however, as multiple videos have shown, though the fact that you don't have exact control what cameras spawn may turn it into a Luck-Based Mission.
  • The Daily Mission of October 18, 2021 is basically September 26, 2021's daily mission, though you do have a functioning hud in exchange for being detected when your detection bar reaches the second stage, meaning that detection lures are practically useless against everyone. This time, you practically live or die by the RNG, so good luck trying to get the perfect spawns without screwing up!
  • The Daily Mission of November 16, 2021 is a repeat of October 18, 2021 and September 26, 2021's daily mission, but this time you have not just a working UI, but also can perform detection lures as well, making it actually easier compared to the rest, but only by a little, and much like October 18, 2021's mission, poor RNG can result in a failed mission.
  • The Daily Mission of December 24, 2021 might be one of the hardest of the Daily Missions involving The Financier, as not only does it have No Disguise, but also had the audacity of denying you suppressor usage, meaning no trying to snipe Ryan Ross and his bodyguards and get the hell out as soon as possible, but also has Heavy Bags, meaning if you want to get out as fast as possible, you have to hostage Ryan Ross in order to make it out. Good luck doing this on Operative!

Daily Missions - Specific Examples

  • The Daily Mission of August 24, 2021. You have to clear the mission without killing anyone and without hidden detection bars- seems simply enough. Until you get to the takedown limit- it's 6. Keep in mind, this only has room for two disguises- one for janitor, one for the guards, and you will have to deal with the security center at one point, meaning that unless you get lucky with the spawns and potentially make room for knocking out two agents, this can turn into a Luck-Based Mission. Fortunately, some kind of flaw in the A.I. means that once you hostage a guard, they effectively become civilians who cannot raise the alarm, thus saving on body counts, but even if that wasn't your major concern, the first part where you have to get a janitor disguise is rather annoying, since you have to lure them to the elevator to hide the body and get the disguise, which is already hard even if you know how to lure them in.
  • The Daily Mission of August 25, 2021 is a nightmare even on Operative. No Hidden UI; eh, that's a minor nuisance. But then there's fog; suddenly, finding the keypad is even harder since you have a hard time knowing if the keypad is either in the break room or in the basement. To make matters worse, the wiki doesn't even list the locations where the keypad spawns at- this particular problem could have been avoided if the pictures of the keypad locations were available for use, but the lack of such images lead to a massive gamble at where the keypad is, only to fail and either get a guard's attention through sheer recklessness or the keypad alarm being raised. Thankfully it does get easier once the keypad part is done, though the knockout/kill limit and the security team can still get on one's nerves. The only upside was that it existed alongside a Good Bad Bug which allowed you to clear the daily mission even if you failed it.
  • The Daily Mission of August 26, 2021. Basically, you have to clear The Scientist on loud, which means no trying to save Rivera early, but Aegis units spawn at a higher rate and you can only carry small firearms (Submachine Guns, Pistols), and you're not allowed to carry equipment bags, meaning reduced inventory. The closest thing you have towards a sniper rifle is the Raven, which is only available in certain events or buying the Expanded Arsenal gamepass (which is thankfully cheap). While there are camping spots, if the power gets cut for any reason, expect a good amount of the team's health to go down restoring the power. That, and trying to endure the swarm of Aegis whose shields can completely block the small firearms the team has. Don't be surprised if one ends up as the Sole Survivor due to this!
  • The Daily Mission of August 27, 2021. While clearing The Blacksite on Stealth is hard enough, the mission also applies the Unskilled restriction and No Hybrid Classes restriction, heavily limiting your shortcuts throughout the mission, and making it harder to stay out of sight from the guards. This is probably where players have virtually gave up their Legend Daily Mission streak, because they aren't willing to go through a mission that's downright unfair.
  • While the Daily Mission of August 28, 2021 isn't hard even with the Unskilled Restriction and Fifteen Minutes restriction (the same amount of time you need to clear this mission on Legend, by the way), the last part of Black Dusk can downright seal the fate of a run since you're planting the bombs in a open space, right in front of the guards to see. While this is normally migated by killing the guard before they raise the alarm, the Takedown Limit of, once again, 6 (thankfully enough to knockout a guard and kill/knockout five Elite Guards in the room where you can hack for the vault code) means that you basically hope that no one will have enough time to raise the alarm and run like hell fast to the exit.
  • The Daily Mission of September 4, 2021. While being restricted from using the Keycard Scrambler and having hidden detection bars isn't that much of an issue, this was the first Daily Mission to introduce No Moving Bodies. This means that you cannot move bodies, period, and since you tend you knock out guards in areas that can easily be bagged in time before they see what's happening, this can be quite frustrating, not being helped by the fact that there's a LOT of people, meaning that if you don't knock them out in the right place, the whole Daily Mission goes up in flames. Fortunately, it seems that Cishshato got the hint on how infuriating this daily mission would be, and allowed a bug that would have you instantly clear the mission if it goes loud to stay, as if she knew that said restriction would be nigh-impossible to win.
  • The Daily Mission of September 6, 2021, DEAR GOD. Imagine August 28 2021's restrictions, except they're even more harder: Instead of merely Unskilled, you get Inexperienced: meaning you're only restricted to 25 Perks. But what makes it even worse is that the Knockout Limit of 6, once again, returns and instead of the Fifteen Minutes restriction, you get Bloodless, which means no kills at all. This makes the last part where you have to plant the bombs in an open space even harder, as you're basically praying to god that no guards sees the bomb before you make your escape. Unlike all the other entries in this list, this gained a notable amount of notoriety when one of the head mods of an popular Entry Point discord server announced, complete with an f-bomb, that he would skip this mission entirely, which says a lot regard how absolutely hated this mission was, even by expert stealth Freelancers.
  • The Daily Mission of September 20, 2021. It's basically August 27, 2021's mission, except much more harsher: It also has Faster Detection, meaning that detection lures are completely useless against the base commander, and even without it, due to Unskilled, this makes it completely Unintentionally Unwinnable on Legend Difficulty, since the reduced skill tree combined with the lower detection bar makes it impossible to escape from the first area's Hostile Zone without sacrificing a lot of useful utilities and perks.
  • The Daily Mission of September 28, 2021 deserves special mention, especially on Legend. While starting with reduced health is bad enough, there's also the fact that enemies will spam flashbangs. Particularly very nasty on the second part, where you're basically forced to go out as soon as possible and face a lot of gunfire unless you want to get flashbanged to death. And no, shooting them won't save you this time. Much like the rest of the Gamepass-exclusive Daily Missions, Cish decided to leave a glitch that allowed you to win the Daily Mission regardless whether it was successful or not as it is, probably because of how hard it is.
  • The Daily Mission of October 4, 2021. This was the first mission to introduce the No Heavy Armor restriction, meaning no Frontline or Aegis armor. Seems pretty simple enough, until you notice that it's also paired with the Glass Cannon restriction, meaning that you have to VERY careful when moving those money bags to the cage. That and explosive flashbangs.
  • The Daily Mission of October 26, 2021. The good news is that you won't take as much damage as before. The bad news is that it happens to be paired with No Equipment Bags, meaning lesser healing supplies and breaching charges. You pretty much need to go Leeroy Jenkins if you want to survive! Not being helped is that it also debuted alongside the Halloween Hitlist 2021, meaning that you're going to have a hard time finding players even in Operative due to most of them attempting to search for pumpkins for the Halloween item..
  • The Daily Mission of October 31, 2021, is basically August 24, 2021's daily mission, except there are MUCH more cameras this time. Considering that this just came out right after a series of server outages by ROBLOX and it replaced the intended much easier daily mission which was basically The Score but with a more lenient takedown limit, this can feel like a backhanded apology by Cishshato.
  • The Daily Mission of November 8, 2021, SWEET MERCIFUL FUCKING GOD. This Daily Mission takes everything players disliked about the Blacksite and then proceeded to add already unfair restrictions to a extremely hard level. Much like August 27 and September 20's daily missions, this mission applies an perk-limiting restriction in the form of Inexperienced, meaning it limits the amount of perks you can take, making escaping the first zone much more difficult, and second, it also applies the Faster Detection restriction as well, meaning that luring via the detection meter is impossible, and finally, to top it all off, it also applies the Heavy Bags restriction, meaning that carrying around bodies is much harder. September 6's Daily Mission was already a contender for the hardest Daily Mission, but this one has completely won the crown for "most poorly-designed Daily Mission", and pretty much is the absolute reason why people despise Cish's Reclusive Artist status, due to them unable to send feedback on the negative reception of their missions. Don't be surprised if you see someone writing an angry letter about this Unintentionally Unwinnable Daily Mission.
  • The Daily Mission of November 12, 2021 is basically August 25's objective, but this time, you're on a 15-minute time limit. Thankfully, you have a UI this time, making it so that it's MUCH easier to know if you're being spotted or not. Probably because of this, Cishshato implemented the bugfix where it patched out a glitch involving completion of a Gamepass-only stealth mission.
  • The Daily Mission of November 18, 2021. The Score is already as brutal as it is, but here, this one is made much harder by two restrictions: Criminal Arsenal, which restricts you to only the UP9, F57, MM20 and Sawblade, meaning that without the CH-A, one of the most reliable methods of destroying the SWAT van and killing snipers is unavailable, forcing you at their mercy of their endless rain of bullets, and Glass Cannon, which reduces your health in exchange for more damage. The health reduction does not help at all, and in fact is made worse by the fact that there are Explosive Flashbangs as well, meaning that you either have to shoot the flashbang or evacuate to a safer area fast, cause if you don't, BOOM. The only saving grace was it replaced an Unintentionally Unwinnable mission which was much worse involving No Heavy Armor and Less Health. At least this mission allows you to equip the Aegis armor...
  • The Daily Mission of December 11, 2021. This daily mission was the first mission to have all red modifiers, in the form of No Explosives, meaning that if Ryan Ross gets into the safe room, good luck waiting it out unless you know how to snipe through it, and second, this mission also introduces the unholy combination of Explosive Flashbangs and Explosive Revenge, and since you're defending a Heli that is refueling, they will toss it to your location, mandating that you either take it out immediately and get blitzed on by multiple units who will drop an explosive flashbang on death, or evacuate and delay the escape time further.
  • The Daily Mission of December 12, 2021. While it has only blue modifiers compared to the previous' all red modifiers, don't let it fool you, as this mission takes place in The Blacksite. While Reinforced Locks can be easily be bypassed by breaching charges, the annoying parts is No Heavy Armor, which in a mission that forces you to only equip the Scout Armor and Raider Armor, both which have known durability and protection issues, not being helped by the fact that this mission forces to go to point a to point b without cover, and Armera Arsenal, which forces you to use the Sawblade and MM20, both weapons with great stopping power but major drawbacks, and is nasty at the part where you rescue Rose where you can't take cheap shots at the Steel Cove Operatives, meaning that you have to pray that Rose is in Cell C or D, lest you bite the bullet (no pun intended) and rush to her cell amid huge gunfire. The last part is mostly a defense sequence, which means you have to protect the gate where enemies can potentially rain down above you, and no, not going to the hallways where you can bomb the anti-air defenses will save you, as there needs to be one person at the gate to prevent the other Steel Cove Operatives from shutting down the hacking process. Thankfully, the last part, while also a defense sequence, can be cheesed by simply camping at a spot so as to clear the way for the escape route. Overall, a frustrating experience, but it's nothing compared to October 26, 2021's mission.
  • The Daily Mission of February 6, 2021. Similar to December 12, 2021's Daily Mission, you only have blue modifiers, but it's much harder than you expect: Aside from Headshots Only, you're also stuck with Armera Arsenal, which means you're forced to use Sawblade and MM20, both of which are Awesome, but Impractical weapons, and are not suited to dealing headshots in long range, but what particularly places this here is because of No Heavy Armor; In a mission like The Financier which forces you to bring Aegis Armor or die, this is extremely painful since there are multiple snipers awaiting to shoot you.

Other Examples

  • Day 4 of Entry Point Anniversary 2021, "UNSTOPPABLE TO THE END". You have to kill or knockout everyone in Black Dusk on Operative and above without setting off the alarm. There exists two problems: One is that you still need complete the objective within a time limit of either 20 minutes or 15 minutes depending on difficulty, and second, there is almost no way to track every single one of them. Fortunately, achieving this objective allows you to plant the last two bombs without issue if it was not done so already.
  • Day 5 of Entry Point Anniversary 2021, "AND THEN THEY WERE GHOSTS". You have to basically speedrun through the Killhouse on Legend difficulty under 3 minutes and 30 seconds. Even if you're a professional speedrunner, there's the fact that the location of the vault is completely randomized and there are no indicators which guard has the info needed to open it without using the lengthy drill. If said guard is dead or knocked out, expect to restart multiple times! Thankfully, it allows you to answer an unlimited amount of radios and break cameras without triggering the alarm, but good luck doing that in a single day, because unlike Day 4, you only have one day to complete it!
  • The Nightmare side-mission for The Killhouse. For starters, you have to find 3 darkened wires, and after that, you have to defend the drill for 15 minutes while trying to avoid bullets from the police with minimal cover. Oh, and it has to be done in Elite and Legend. Cishshato likely acknowledged this, and gave it the highest payout rate for completing it, surpassing The SCRS' payout.
