Tear Jerker / Ultraman 80

• Alien Zuckal's Heroic Sacrifice, driven by his rage to avenge his family. At least he successfully delivers a Heroic Second Wind to allow Ultraman 80 to destroy Gamos and lives long enough to know his wife and son had been avenged.
• Baru, the baby infant kaiju getting mauled to death by Zakira, in the show's sole Kill the Cutie moment.
• The Alien Zatans' plot of pulling a Kill and Replace on Sera's childhood friend to destroy UGM from the inside results in a major one for the otherwise-comedic Sera. While and especially after their ploy falls apart, Sera's brought to tears at having to distrust and eventually shoot an alien that killed and nearly successfully impersonated the very man who sparked his self-confidence as a child.
• Emi Johno's Heroic Sacrifice. She was a Secret Secret-Keeper for Takeshi.
• The sendoff UGM gives Yamato and Hoshi in the last episode.
