Toman Arc
- Takemichi finds out his middle school girlfriend got killed by car crash with her brother on the news which made him really sad that they were broke up for most years.
- Takemichi was able to hit by subway train, he thought he was going to be killed until he remember Hinata in his memories that he never got chance to see her.
Mobieus Arc
- Takemichi tearfully told Hinata that he was useless all time and he can't be stronger like Mikey and Draken.
- After Draken survived from stabbing by Kiyomasa, leading his friends happily crying that his surgery was succeed except Mikey who wasn't crying, but out of the hospital, he begins to crying out of relief that draken is alive which is almost lost his best friend.
Valhalla Arc
- At Hinata's funeral, Takemichi reminisces about him meeting Hinata at her doorstep, witnessing the car crash and him telling Hinata he will always love her. Takemichi approaches to Hinata's shrine and decides to pay respects towards her. Takemichi froze and shed a tear, with Naoto crying in agony about Hinata's death which it's really sad that he tried to save her sister from her death.
- Kazutora story is really tragic. He was born in broken home, his father verbally and physically abuse him and his mother, and he was forced choose to pick his parents' side in case of domestics violence.
- After breaking bike shop, Kazutora accidentally killed Shinichiro, Mikey's older brother with the tool. Baji tries to call for help, but Kazutora lost his mind and decide to kill Mikey for avenging Shinichiro.
- Baji tearfully hugs Kazutora and tell him that they will always be together until the end.
- Mikey run fast he can and then he saw Kazutora and Baji were arrested by cops for what happens to Shinichiro and Baji apologize to Mikey for his Shinichiro's death but Kazutora doesn't because he lost his insanity and decide to wait until he will kill Mikey.
- Baji's death in the Valhalla arc has affected the members of the Tokyo Manji gang. As soon as he was stabbed by Kazutora, he ended up being knocked out, resulting in Mikey beating the living crap out of Kazutora! Although Baji regained enough consciousness to get up from the knife wound that Kazutora inflicted on him, the damage was so severe that Baji chose to stab himself, just so Kazutora wouldn't be guilty! This led to Chifuyu panicking while going to Baji's side as he hugged him in his last moments of life, and once Baji died, Chifuyu ended up shedding a lot of tears as Mikey continues his beating of Kazutora in frustration for what he did to Baji! Although Takemichi was just as sad, he realized that things would get worse if he doesn't stop the confrontation between Mikey and Kazutora. As Takemichi attempts to reason with Mikey, Mikey was so angry and he was in such a terrible mood that he beats Takemichi up (though it is understandable due to his confusion as to why Takemichi would defend the man who killed his best friend)! It only took Takemichi to accidentally throw the good luck charm in front of Mikey to get him to stop beating Kazutora, leading to the rest of the Tokyo Manji members crying over Baji's death.
- Tetta then points his gun at Chiyufu's head and asks him if he has final words. Chifuyu asks Takemichi to listen and tells him that in the last years Manjiro had disappeared and Ken Ryuguji was executed, they got involved in messed-up shit. Chifuyu then tells him he leaves Keisuke's feelings and Toman in his hands and in that moment Tetta shoots him in the head. Takemichi can't believe that Chifuyu is dead and starts crying even more. Tetta yells at him if that's all he's got. As tears appear in Tetta's eyes, he says goodbye to Takemichi, his "hero" and pulls the trigger.
- Takemichi tells Hinata that they should break up. Takemichi claimed he has been thinking it for a while and that he likes someone else, and no longer likes her. Hinata then attacks him and starts hitting him, saying she hates him. After Hinata leaves, Takemichi recalls his moments with her, telling himself that he did this to her because he doesn't want her to get in danger, but then he cries and wonders what to do now as he loves her.
- Takemichi learns about the truth, Hakkai wasn't the one who protecting Yuzuha from Taiju, it was Yuzuha who protecting Hakkai. He tries to stand out against Taiju but he's too scared. He and Yuzuha cover the truth so no ones know.
- Yuzuha visit her mother's grave, her face were beaten by Taiju and tearfully wishes that she really wants her mother to hug her if she was really alive.
- As Takemichi and Naoto dying from blood loss, Naoto tells him that when he first Takemichi in the future he felt into despair, wondering if he really has to put all his trust into such pathetic loser. He didn't knew what Hinata even saw in him. However after he saw him fail over and over again, Naoto thought that this is what a real hero is. Despite all his failures, he never gave up. Naoto is proud of Takemichi and tells him to shake hands one last time. Takemichi promises that this won't be the last time, as he will never give up, and then he then shakes Naoto's hand from dying before returning to the past.
- When Takemichi meets with the young Naoto and shake his hand, intending to return to the present, however as nothing happens, Takemichi realizes that Naoto had died in the present. Takemichi then apologizes to Naoto for calling him there and tells him to go home. He starts talking to him, recalling how they met and how he did everything to save Hinata. He states he needs to change the past again and save Naoto as well, alongside Hinata, however as he keeps on failing again and again in the present, he starts to feel useless and it may be just better if he dies for good or not.
- Emma was left at her grandfather's house by her mother when she was young and asked her about if she will coming back for her. Emma understands that she knew that her mother always hated her, hence why she was abandoned. She began to cry as she remembered her mother's false promise about coming back to pick her up.
- Emma death affected everyone in Tenjiku arc. When Emma and Takemichi buying their drinks, they sees Kisaki behind the motorcyclist. He screams as he speeds past Takemichi, narrowly avoiding him, and hits Emma with a metal bat. Mikey arrived, and see Emma's motionless body on the ground. They were about to taking Emma to the hospital, Emma requesting Mikey tell Draken that she loves him; As her eyes well up with tears, Emma tearfully tells Takemichi to take care of Mikey for her, just before her body slumps in death. Panicked, Mikey tries to reveal to Emma that Draken has mutual feelings for her, telling her that he will call him as soon as they reach the hospital, in hopes that she will wake up; however, she does not respond because she was already dead .At Asagaya Hospital, Draken arrived and he begins to react in shock to see Emma's dead body. Mikey is depressed from the trauma of Emma's death. Draken tells Mikey to go outside with him; Mikey is silent when Draken asks what happened. He angrily punches Mikey in the face, demanding as to why he let it happen; Takemichi insists that he is to blame, as he was beside her when the attack occurred. He begs Draken to attack him instead of Mikey. Ignoring him, Draken punches Mikey once more, telling Mikey that he started Toman to protect his loved ones. Upon seeing Emma's body, Hina sobs in shock and apologize for her death for not having been there to protect her.
- As Kokonoi walks home, he recognizes that it came from the Inui house. He finds the house engulfed in flames. Desperate to save Akane, Kokonoi rushes into the burning house; he emerges carrying someone. As he tries to reassure Akane, it turns out that he saved Seishu instead. At the hospital, Inupi is left with a partially burned face, while Akane has severe, life-threatening burns; Inupi tells Kokonoi that Akane's full medical treatment requires 40 million yen. However, his family cannot afford this, as they still need to pay off their house loan. Kokonoi says he promised to protect Akane, vowing to accrue 40 million yen, even at the cost of his own life.
- He determined to get the money for Akane's treatment, For this reason, Koko did everything he could to learn about finance so he could save money for her treatment plans. He realized that the fastest way of gaining was to turn to crime, so he recruited delinquents to do his bidding. However, Kokonoi gets a call from a tearful Inupi, learning that Akane has died. As a result, Koko became even more money-crazed from reality that was caused after Akane's death.
- When Izana asked Karen why she left him, she revealed that he is not her son. Instead, he was the child of her ex-husband and Filipino woman; his father was killed by thugs. When Izana learned this, he confronts Shinichiro, who had told him that claiming they were brothers. Shinichiro asks why it matters, as their relationship should not change. Izana tells at him to shut up, he asks why Shinichiro found him, as he has always been endlessly lonely. With Shinichiro as his brother, he thought the happiness that came with the fact could alleviate his loneliness.
- Upon seeing Izana motionless , Kakucho breaks down. He grasp Izana's hand, he tells him that he will not be alone in death, as he will be joining him soon. He remarks that they lived great lives. Looking up into the sky, Kakucho realizes that it is snowing, causing him to remember his and Izana's childhood together. Remembering that they were young and rush out the doors of the orphanage, marveling at the freshly piled snow. As they lie in the snow, Kakucho asks what their kingdom will be named, Izana draws from the novel Journey to the West, dubbing their kingdom "Tenjiku". The two of them vow to create a great era. Kakucho tearfully remembers this as he lies next to Izana's body, mirroring his flashback.
- Haitani brothers see Izana's corpse and Kakucho's unconscious body. Ran closes Izana and Kakucho's eyes, he confesses that he admires them, telling them to rest well. He vows to emulate how they lived their lives. Rindou never say anything, he was sadly look at their bodies.
Bonten Arc
- At funeral of Emma Sano, Toman's members and some of Emma's classmates sit in respectful silence. Takemichi notes that Mikey remained stoic. Paying his respects to Mikey and Emma's grandfather, Draken confesses that he loved Emma, apologizing for being unable to protect her. Her grandfather remarks he is sure that Emma is resting well, prompting Draken to sob in grief. In turn, various Toman members including Hinata sob as well.
- Kakucho visits the orphanage where he and Izana met, looking at the outside that he spent time with Izana where he builds a makeshift grave for him, reminiscent of the one he made for his parents when they first met, and then he walking away, he tells Izana to rest well.
- Back in 2017, it seems almost everyone have their happy lives in the future except for Mikey because his dark impulses is getting worse which cause isolated himself from his friends and form the worst criminal organization called Bonten in the Japan.
- After Takemichi reunited with Mikey. Mikey says that he did not want to reunite with his friends because he will kill them. He tells Takemichi that his life is over but Takemichi vows to save Mikey, no matter how many tries it takes. As he walks away, Mikey shoot him. Climbing onto the roof, Mikey stands at the edge, ready to jump to his death. This attracts a crowd including Sanzu who's began to panic. As Mikey looks from above, he visualizes the people he lost: Shinichiro, Emma, and Baji. In addition, Mikey imagines all of Toman on the ground, including the captains and Draken, who encourages him. Smiling before his jump, Mikey shouts words of encouragement to Toman. Sanzu screams for Mikey to stop, but Mikey jumps nevertheless.
- After Mikey jumps, Takemichi grabs him, telling Mikey that he won't let him die, but Mikey tells Takemichi that his actions are dumb, as he is trying to save someone who just tried to kill him. Takemichi still dying from his wounds, he begs Mikey to save himself, as he does not have much time left. However, Mikey tells him to let go and he doesn't want to be alive in that moment and reminds him that he can no longer time-leap. Takemichi tearfully shouts at Mikey to shut up and asks why he always burdens himself. He implores Mikey to ask for his help for once, promising to save him. Moved by Takemichi's words, Mikey tearfully asks Takemichi to save him.
Three Deities Arc
- The shooter is about to shoot Senju but she was saved by Draken when he took the bullet for her. He was now dying from shooting and tells Takemichi to take care of Mikey for him. After his last breath, he saw Emma in the afterlife.
- South Terano's story is tragic. He grew up in Rio de Janeiro with his bedridden mother. A gang leader named Dino become his surrogate father. He introduced South to the Brazilian gang life at the age of five. Dino groomed South into violence by ordering him to shoot men which they are his enemies. South's physical strength became stronger at twelve, he kills Dino by beating him to death and inherits Dino's gang, Dino South. Two years later, a rival gang raid kills South's mother. .
- When Takemichi recovered at hospital, Chifuyu tearfully asked Takemichi about what is wrong with him that changed the future because Draken's death. Chifuyu asks why Takemichi came back if the future was going well for everyone. Furiously grief-stricken, Chifuyu shouts, almost blaming Takemichi for Draken's death but apologizing him. However, Takemichi agrees with his culpability and asks Chifuyu to leave. As he walks away, still in tears, Chifuyu bids Takemichi a quick recovery so he can beat him up in earnest.
- After draken death change everything, Mitsuya become isolated. He struggles on his work and his appearance becomes unkempt. Mitsuya lost the one who closer to him as equal.
- Sanzu used to be cheerful child and get along with Senju but he was neglected when Takeomi favored Senju over him. Mikey ripped Sanzu's cheeks was start of his insanity and his negative relationship with his family.
- Senju revealed to Takemichi that she's the one who broke Mikey's toy plane that cause Mikey really angry when he ripped the corners of the Sanzu's mouth. She believed that she was responsible for everything change that Mikey's dark impulses and Sanzu's insanity started. She calls herself a failure because she thinks it was too late to fix her mistakes.
