Although this show is primarily comedic in tone, these guys aren't afraid to make you cry.
- Gregor sees his entire family die at a very young age, and is so traumatized by it that he refuses to move for three days afterwards. His experience with his second family is summed up horribly quickly, with a lightning fast series of shots. Somebody dying alone in the forest, running from an onslaught of burning arrows, people hanging from the gallows, and then blackness.Gregor: I got a new family. And then they all died too.
- The downside to Ashe's powers - of which there are many - is the slow loss of her humanity. As she has to use them frequently, she fears one day her humanity will be gone completely and that no one'll notice.
- It is heavily implied that Inien has gone through a lot with the church. While we don’t know what, it was enough to make Markus go to big brother mode, and Colvin to lose his innocence.
