Tear Jerker / The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings

• Foltest's death at the end of the first half of the prologue, coming as it was immediately after the heartwarming moment with his kids.
• Cedric's death near the end of Chapter One, too - made somewhat bittersweet by the forest animals coming out to say goodbye to the most likeable elf in the series.
• Mercy Killing the dragon. As expressionless as he is, Geralt looks truly sad.
• Bernard Loredo's elven Sex Slave committing suicide after giving birth to her Child by Rape. Ves, who helped the girl through the birth, looks utterly heartbroken by what happened.
• Seeing Ves crying in a corner after she's been raped by Henselt and witnessed the deaths of her fellow Blue Stripes despite pleading for their lives with the king. This is only made all the more enraging and tearjerking by her earlier experience helping the elven slave deliver her child by rape and witnessing her commit suicide. Poor Ves.
