- After Starlight and Sunburst share a romantic kiss together, Starlight suddenly forces Sunburst to tell her why he never wrote to her when he went to school. Sunburst admits he was embarrassed to talk to her due to his weak magic and also knew she had no self-control over her emotions, something she still struggles with in the present, and admits he was afraid of her. This actually drives Starlight to tears, and she screams how losing him started her on her path to being a villain, even screaming how she was in love with him. The quick Mood Whiplash between the two of them is pretty tragic, from romantically kissing on one page to shouting at each other the next.
