Dylan: Does your mom understand you? Kiara:[looks at ground, solemn] I think you should leave. Dylan: What if I don't? Are you going to cry to your mom?
And then later... It's even worse because before she stated why "Welcome to My Life" was inferior to "Everybody Hurts", where she said there is a light at the end of the tunnel, in terms of depression.
Imagine you're Kiara's mother. You gave your abused child a small plushie to make her happy and with something to hold on to from her abusive father. Your child is fine through out it all until she snaps and kills your abusive husband and then kills you. And she doesn't remember doing it until almost a year later.
