- 004 is killed by a "Smiert Spionem" mole, falling off a cliff. Bond doesn't care about the exercise and goes straight to him at the bottom of the cliff.
- The murder of Saunders and Bond's reaction to it. It happened seconds after he finally thawed and became Bond's friend.
- Kara is a Nice Girl, and she's been used, manipulated and lied to by Koskov through and through, and used, manipulated and lied to by Bond out of necessity. Had Bond not figured out she was an innocent civilian and something was amiss with his assignment, she would have been coldbloodedly murdered by a manipulated Bond for a greedy man's selfish convenience.Kara: "All the heroes I know are dead!"
- The Pretenders' "If There Was A Man" that plays over the closing credits can make the viewer cry, especially as it was also the Leitmotif for Bond and Kara's romance.
