There are certainly a few sad moments in The Last Tinker: City of Colors:
Koru's concern over Tap when he was injured. Though he didn't use any words, it was still evident in his reaction to this that he was very worried about his friend, and was even afraid that he might lose him.
The Purple spirit's backstory: Before the citizens of Colortown turned against other colors, the Purple Spirit was the most important one of them all. He was the spirit of unity that encouraged people to work as a team and be creative to fabricate the most colorful and beautiful art imaginable. But when people started to favor single colors and the city was split into districts, his virtues faded and he started to be forgotten. People did neither remember him, nor what he stood for. Imagine how abandoned the Purple spirit must have felt.
