I want a mom that will last forever..
- The scene where Chuckie is left out of the dance for all the kids and their mothers. It only makes it worse when Chuckie tells Angelica his wish for the bobfather game is to have a mother, only for her to tell him that they're no longer playing that game. Add to the fact that Sinéad O'Connor's "When You Love" plays in the background.
- Chas looking through the old family photos with Chuckie. It is during this that he realizes that Chuckie really needs someone to call Mom in his life, himself already feeling the loneliness of not having his wife by his side.
- While the kids are all being held by Jean-Claude, when Chuckie bawls out how much he just wishes for a regular mom who loves him (instead a princess mom), knowing that his dad was about to marry a woman who couldn't think less of either of them. Even Angelica is so ashamed that she finally confesses her part in the scam and APOLOGIZES to Chuckie.
- Every time Coco tries to take away Chuckie's teddy bear, a gift that was made for him by his deceased mother.
- Even worse, after having Jean Claude lock the babies away before the wedding, she turns to Kira and orders her to burn it! Not surprisingly, this is what finally gets Kira to turn on her boss.
- The song "I Want A Mom That Will Last Forever" by Cyndi Lauper and the scene that it plays during: Chuckie sees all of his friends happy with their respective mothers, and then stares longingly out the airplane window and sees clouds that look like him and his mother together.
- The song hits doubly hard for anyone who's lost their own mother in real life.
