"No, we can't, because WE'RE NOT GOOD ENOUGH!"
- In episode 23, Fumika shares her backstory with Aku. Once she begins talking about it, she starts tearing up, showing how painful it was and that she still hasn't gotten over it.
- Four words: Nina and Fumika's fight. The whole thing was just... devastating. Nina, one of the nicest girls in the story, completely lashes out at Fumika over something as petty as a Melody Cylumn. Not to mention that it reminds Fumika of her fight with Himari and Sara. Also, we find out that Nina's still not over her stress from her overworking, and she gets a headache. Fumika tries to help, but Nina just yells again and leaves, causing Fumika to break down in tears. The whole thing really just wants to make you give Fumika a hug.
- At the end of episode 29, we see that Nina feels completely terrible over the whole ordeal, and she's almost crying.
- Nina's apology is also pretty sad. Even if you don't forgive Nina for the fight, you've gotta admit that she sounds upset and guilty over the way she acted.
Nina: I'm so sorry for how I acted. That was immature and stupid of me. And I hurt you. So if you don't wanna be friends anymore, that's okay. - Episode 38 is just a whole Tear Jerker EPISODE:
- How do we start the episode? By showing Fumika have a flashback about her and her old "friends", Himari and Sara. They treat her so terribly, and hurt her so bad, and when Fumika snaps out of her flashback, she's in tears.
- Lucien's having a sleepover! Sounds fun and cute, right? Well, it completely goes wrong when the group tries to tell Fumika to join a unit. Fumika rushes off, overwhelmed and crying, and she locks herself in the bathroom. Nina and Isania rush after her and try to get her to come out.
- Fumika lets Nina and Isania in and finally tells them everything. And we FINALLY learn the whole story.
- Basically, when Fumika was new to Pripara, she met two girls named Himari and Sara, and they form a unit called Tropical Beam. Overtime, Himari and Sarah became obsessed with winning, and that started being all that they focused on. They started lashing out at Fumika for her being "the special one" in the group because of her Prism Voice and aura. One day, Lucien met Fumika outside of Pripara, and he was a big fan of her, so they snapped tickets, which caused Himari and Sara to be jealous. The final straw was when Tropical Beam lost another competition. Himari and Sara yelled at Fumika, and Fumika was in tears and stopped joining units.
