"Magearna's still in there! It's suffering!"
- The Big Bad forcing Meowth to listen to and translate the agonized screams of a suffering Pokemon. The horrifying ordeal leaves him a sobbing mess.
- Volcanion's Heroic Sacrifice to destroy the airship tower about to crash into Nebel Plateau, though it didn't stick.Volcanion: Magearna... I couldn't protect you. Forgive me. (blows himself up)
- After Meowth is kidnapped by Alva, Meowth realizes that Alva is about to make Magearna fire the laser at the ship. He then realizes that James and Jessie are on the ship and becomes crushed at the realization that his best friends are about to be killed.
- Magearna's death is a huge tearjerker as well. Alva has Gengar use Mean Look on Magearna and fires the laser at the plateau. Although it misses and hits the flower field, Magearna still dies. Meowth feels this and breaks down in tears at the fact that Magearna's dead.
- Meowth's capture is heartbreaking as well. Once Meowth realizes that he can still sense Magearna, he and his teammates try and get it back, only for Jessie and James to be thrown out of the ship and for Meowth to be kidnapped by Alva. Becomes a Heartwarming Moment when the three reunite.
- Magearna's backstory is this. The whole kingdom goes into war over the power she holds, leaving Nikola with no choice but to send her to the Nebel Plataeu. How he sounds in this scene is soul-crushing.
- Team Rockets reunion is both tear-jerking and heartwarming at the same time. How relived both James and Jessie look and sound is heartwarming, knowing they do care and love Meowth. Meowth legit looks like he's about to break down in tears of joy during this scene because he's just touched and relieved to see them especially after what he's been through. His voice even sounds like it's breaking during this scene, something you can't help but tear up at.
- The fact that the Mega Evolution Army was being forced by the Mega Wave devices to attack the good guys against their will as when a Pokémon that's part of said army such as Alva's Gengar is forced to Mega Evolve, it reacts in pain and has glowing eyes. Then, when Ash breaks the staff, Gengar and the others flee with the credits revealing Alakazam dropped Levi and Cherie off in prison.
